NEET 2026: NTA issues document advisory for candidates, check details here

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important advisory for aspirants appearing in NEET UG 2026, urging candidates to ensure that all mandatory documents are updated, accurate, and valid well before applying for the examination to avoid discrepancies, grievances, or rejection at later stages.
According to the official notice, The National Testing Agency will be conducting National Eligibility Entrance Test [NEET (UG) - 2026].
To streamline the process for NEET (UG)-2026, all eligible aspirants are advised to ensure that the following documents are updated well in advance before applying for NEET (UG)-2026 in order to avoid any discrepancies, grievances or rejection at a later stage.
a) Aadhaar Card- All the candidates appearing for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2026 are advised to ensure that their Aadhaar Card is accurate, valid and duly updated in all respects. The Aadhaar details must correctly reflect the following information of the Candidate:
i. Name
ii. Date of Birth
iii. Gender
iv. Photograph
v. Address
vi. Biometric Information (wherever applicable)
Candidates requiring any correction or update in their Aadhaar details may do so by following the UIDAI guidelines. For Aadhaar update related services, candidates may visit the official UIDAI website.
b) UDID Card (for Persons with Disabilities)- Candidates are advised that UDID Card is valid, updated and renewed, as required.
c) Category Certificate- Candidates are advised that Category certificate (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) is updated and valid.
Aspirants are advised to regularly visit the NTA official website for further updates, instructions, or notices regarding NEET (UG) -2026.

Medical Dialogues had earlier reported that The syllabus for the NEET-UG 2026 has now been published on the NMC website. According to the details, the questions from Physics will come from 20 Units including Physics and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Properties of Solids and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Oscillations and Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction, and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Atoms and Nuclei, Electronic Devices, Experimental Skills.
The syllabus of Chemistry has been divided into three parts - Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. There are a total number of 20 Units covering these three parts of the Chemistry Syllabus. The Units covering Physical Chemistry include- Some basic concepts in Chemistry, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Solutions, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions and Electrochemistry, and Chemical Kinetics.
The Units covering the syllabus of Inorganic Chemistry Include- Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, p- Block Elements, d- and f- Block Elements, Co-Ordination Compounds. Apart from these, the syllabus of Organic Chemistry has been covered in the Units including Purification and Characterisation of Organic Compounds, Some basic principles of Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds Containing Halogens, Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules, and Principles Related to Practical Chemistry.
In respect of the Biology Syllabus, there are a total number of 10 Units that cover topics including- Diversity in Living World, Structural Organisation in Animals and Plants, Cell Structure and Function, Plant Physiology, Human Physiology, Reproduction, Genetics and Evolution, Biology and Human Welfare, Biotechnology and its Application, and Ecology and Environment.
