Ahead of NEET 2026 scheduled for June 21, the National Testing Agency (NTA) recently introduced several student-friendly measures.
The changes are intended to make the examination process more comfortable while maintaining fairness and security standards during the country's largest medical entrance test.
The changes include an extended examination window of 195 minutes, additional space for rough work, and a revised question booklet design to better accommodate candidates, including left-handed aspirants, while ensuring the smooth and secure conduct of the country's largest medical entrance examination.
"The National Testing Agency (NTA) is committed to ensuring that NEET (UG)-2026 examination is conducted in a manner that is fair, secure and responsive to the needs of candidates. As part of this effort, a few candidate-friendly changes have been introduced for NEET (UG) 2026, scheduled to be held on 21 June 2026," the NTA said.
