NEET Admissions 2022: DME Tripura Announces Counselling Schedule, Seat Matrix, Domicile Merit List

NEET Admissions 2022: DME Tripura Announces Counselling Schedule, Seat Matrix, Domicile Merit List

The Director of Medical Education (DME Tripura) has announced the counselling schedule, seat matrix, and state domicile merit list for NEET UG admissions.

All the willing eligible NEET UG 2022 successful candidates are invited to participate in Round 1 of Tripura State NEET UG-2022 counselling by registering themselves through the CounsellingCounseling link-www.mcc.tripura.gov.in online and submitting the prescribed registration fees as per schedule and candidate category. In addition, all the eligible candidates shall have to upload relevant documents in support of their eligibility and qualification as per NEET UG-2022 Information Bulletin.

Important notes –

1. Eligible aspirant candidates are requested to read the Notification and Annexure carefully and positively before filling out the Online Application Format and Registration for the 1st Round of Counselling.

2. Only registered candidates will be eligible for appeariCounsellingounselling. Admission on the allotment is subject to the condition that all the Uploaded documents are found correct during the Online & Physical verification.

3. The reservation for PwD candidates, EWS and WESM will be applied in the Seat Matrix as per the Rules.

4. Candidates belonging to the PwD category shall have to produce their original Authentic Certificate from the Disability Board of Agartala Government Medical College & GBP Hospital, Agartala, or any other Disability Board recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Council) for verification.

5. Candidates belonging to ST/SC! or OBC (for All India other than Tripura Domicile) and candidates belonging to eligibility criteria from I to 5 shall also have to produce their original authentic certificates during physical verification.

6. Reservation for WESM and EWS candidates will apply per the Rules.

7. Certificate Format of PwD & EWS are furnished in Annexure (J & K).

8. All original copies of relevant certificates are mandatory during physical verification.

9. Eligible aspirant candidates are requested to carefully read the Notification and Annexure before filling out the Online Application Format and Registration for the 1st Round of Counselling.

10. All seats will be distributed as per the Merit List of Registered eligible candidates only as per Norms, Guidelines of NEET UG 2022, Govt. of Tripura and Govt. of India as applicable.

11. Merit list of Registered Candidates will be duly published in the Directorate of Medical Education, Govt. of Tripura website after completing the Registration of candidates for Tripura State NEET UG 2022 Counselling.

12. Eligibility Criteria of All India Candidates other than Tripura domicile for the 20 MBBS Seats of Tripura Medical College will be by the NMC/Central Government norms. Therefore, no AIQ Seats will be reverted to State Quota Seats after completing the AIQ Round -2.

Eligibility criteria –

1. The candidates must be Indian Citizens and Permanent residents of Tripura. The applicant or their parents must have been residing in the State of Tripura continuously for not less than ten years immediately before the application was made to appear at NEET¬UG. The applicant should not have applied for domicile (as per NEET Brochure) of any State other than Tripura.

2. Children of All India Services Officers borne in Tripura Cadre and the Children of the Employees of the State Government posted outside Tripura will be eligible to appear at the Counseling irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura.

3. In case the candidates are not permanent residents of Tripura, but their parent is either on deputation as an Officer/employee to the Govt. of Tripura or an Officer/employee of the Central Govt. working in Tripura and has served in Tripura continuously for three years or more before appearing in the qualifying examination from any School/Institute of Tripura.

4. In the case of wards of Ex-servicemen, either the candidate or their parents must have been staying in Tripura continuously for not less than five years immediately before the date of making the application for appearing at the NEET Examination. In addition, the candidate must have passed sed H.S(+2 stage) Examination in of NEET Examination from any School/Institute in India affiliated to a Board recognized by Govt. of India/Govt. of Tripura with subjects in which they desire to appear in the NEET.

5. Children of serving Defense Personnel (Army/Navy/Air Force) hailing from Tripura are also allowed to appear for Counseling, provided that their children should have stayed in Tripura continuously for not less than 5 (five) years immediately before the date of making application for appearing at the NEET Examination and that the candidate must have passed the H.S. (+2 stage) Examination from any Institution of Tripura with the subjects in which they desire to appear in the NEET.

Counselling process -

1. Registration.

2. Publication of merit list of Tripura state and All India other than Tripura domicile.

3. CCC will notify the dates of "choice filling and locking" for the registered candidates.

4. CCC will proceed with the online allotment of seats only for these registered candidates of Tripura State NEET UG 2022 Counselling eligible to participaCounsellingounselling.

5. After allotment of seats, the Issuance of Nomination will be arranged from DME for the State domicile/State quota seats and the 20 centres for All India other than Tripura domicile seats. All admission to concerned Institutions as per allotment & Nomination is subjected to verification of original documents in the Institutions.

6. After receiving the Nomination by a candidate from the Directorate of Medical Education, the candidate will proceed for admission to the allotted College and have to fulfil the admission criteria of the respective College/Institution after the physical verification in the allotted Institution within the scheduled time of admission as notified.

The candidates, who surrender their seats offered in the first Round of Counseling to avail better seats in the second and subsequent Rounds of Counseling, shall not claim the College of their choice as per their actual rank in the first Round of Counseling. Instead, they will have to accept the seat in the College available during the second Counseling or subsequent Counseling as allotted as per candidates' filling of choice & as per merit. The same method shall be applied in case of a candidate who abstains from the first Round of Counseling or does not get admitted to a round-1 allotted seat & participate in round 2.

The candidates who got admitted to an allotted seat during the first Round of Counseling and got admitted but subsequently intend to resign/ surrender the chair shall have to apply in writing to the admitting authority and also to the Director of Medical Education regarding such surrender of the seat within two days from receiving the Nomination positively with a surrender certificate to be obtained from the admitting Institutions and such submission to the office of the Directorate of Medical Education shall have to be done within two days of receiving the Nomination or latest by within two days of the last date of admission of that Round.
