NEET Counselling 2023: MCC issues notice On Round 3 Seats withdrawal and Resignation process, details
New Delhi : The Medical Counselling Committee, MCC of DGHS has informed about the resignation process for Round 3 NEET counselling.
MCC is in receipts from various UG colleges regarding the resignation from UG Counselling 2023, since candidate have been selected in state counselling and want to withdrawal seat from MCC counselling.
In view of the above, it is to informed that since choice filling has been started for Round 3 of UG counselling 2023, resignation module cannot be available for online withdrawal of the candidate, the MCC said.
Therefore, college are advised to take offline withdrawal / resignation of such candidates who have been selected in state counselling, MCC will open the online module for withdrawn the candidate from counselling and colleges fill the details of Resignation once the MCC portal for resignation is opened, it added.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an organization under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and responsible for allotting seats for undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty medical and dental courses in government-run/aided colleges and deemed-to-be-university colleges. It allots seats online on the basis of the candidate's score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Factors considered during allotment are merit, reservation eligibility, and the preference list submitted by the candidate.
