NEET counselling 2025: MP DME postpones mop up round results

Madhya Pradesh: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, has announced the postponement of the Mop-Up Round allotment result for the NEET UG State Counselling for the academic year 2025 for the MBBS and BDS courses.
According to the official notice issued by the MPDME in this regard, the decision comes in response to a directive issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on October 28, 2025.
The MCC notice, released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), instructed all state counselling authorities to weed out the joined candidates of AIQ Round-3 before seat processing of Round-3 of state counselling, so that candidates already holding a seat in AIQ are not allotted any seat through state counselling
Therefore, through the notice, the DME stated that the Mop-Up Round result, originally scheduled to be declared on October 29, 2025, has been postponed until further notice. Hence, the candidates are advised to stay updated through the official websites of MPDME and the MP Online portal for new dates and related announcements.

MCC has issued a notice to all state counselling authorities to weed out candidates who have already joined seats under the AIQ Round-3 before processing seats for Round 3 of State NEET UG Counselling for the academic year 2025. On this, Medical Dialogues had reported that the instruction follows the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, which mandates the filtering out of joined AIQ candidates to prevent dual seat allotments.
Through the notice, the MCC has also clarified that the result of Round-3 of UG Counselling 2025 conducted by MCC has already been published and there is no provision of resignation in this round. Meanwhile, state counselling authorities can download the list of joined candidates from the data sharing portal of MCC after 1st November 2025.
