NEET counselling 2026: KNRUHS invites applications for Management quota MBBS, BDS seats

Telangana: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has issued a notification for online registration for web-based counselling to determine the State Merit position for admission into Management Quota seats only.
The total number of seats available under the Management Quota for the academic year 2026-27 will be notified on the KNRUHS website before exercising web options for counselling.
Online applications are invited from Indian Citizens, NRIs and others (PIO, OCI card holders) who have qualified by securing the cutoff scores or above in UG National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2026 for admission into the Under Graduate Medical and Dental Courses for the academic year 2026-27 under Management Quota i.e. B Category & C Category (NRI Quota) into Private Un-aided Non-Minority & Minority Medical Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS, Telangana, Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences (affiliated to Anurag University), Private Un-aided Dental Colleges and Army College of Dental Sciences, affiliated to KNRUHS, Warangal in the State of Telangana.
According to the notification, the registration window will close by 6:00 PM on August 20, 2026.
The provisional merit positions of the registered candidates will be prepared based on the NEET UG 2026 rank and other eligibility criteria notified here under after verification of scanned original certificates. Final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the time of admission at allotted college by the admission committee of the college.
REGISTRATION AND PROCESSING FEE
1 Candidates are advised to carefully read the Prospectus, University Regulations, relevant Government Orders (G.Os.), and the eligibility conditions prescribed in this notification before proceeding with the payment of the Registration and Processing Fee. The Registration and Processing Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Therefore, candidates should ensure that they fulfil all eligibility criteria before making the payment, uploading relevant documents and submitting the online application.
2 The Registration and Processing fee of Rs. 12,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) shall be paid online.
3 In case of payment failure resulting in a subsequent successful payment (double payment), candidates shall submit their representation for refund of the failed/duplicate payment only through e-mail to knruhs.doublepayments@gmail.com. Upon verification, the amount received through the failed/duplicate transaction, if any, shall be refunded to the candidate's bank account by following due procedure only after the closure of admissions.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION
1 NEET UG-2026 Score Card (Mandatory).
2 Birth Certificate (SSC/10th Class Marks Memo) (Mandatory).
3 Qualifying Exam Certificate (Intermediate/10+2 Marks Memo OR Equivalent – Grade Certificate not accepted) (Mandatory)
4 Study Certificates from 9th & 10th (If Single certificate, upload the same for all years as a PDF file) (Mandatory)
5 Study Certificates – Intermediate or equivalent for 2 Years (If Single certificate, upload the same for all years as PDF file) (Mandatory)
6 Transfer Certificate (Intermediate/10+2) (Mandatory)
7 Community Certificate (if applicable, for eligibility in NEET UG 2026) – Community Certificates issued through online mode by the Mandal Revenue Officer/Competent Authority of Govt. of Telangana will only be considered for admissions.
8 Minority Certificate issued by Tahsildar/MRO/Minority Welfare Department (Muslims Only) (If applicable). (For admission into Minority Medical Colleges)
9 Equivalence Certificate from Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana (If passed qualifying exam from other than BIE, Telangana/CBSE/ICSE).
10 Migration Certificate (If passed qualifying exam from other than BIE, Telangana/CBSE/ICSE)
11 NRI sponsorship certificate (Declaration Form) NRI status certificate of the financial supporter issued by embassy of respective country under their seal Copy of NRI Bank account pass book of the financial supporter Copy of Passport of NRI financier
12 Copy of Ex-servicemen Identity card, discharge book, PPO, Part II order and ECHS card of the candidates along with certificate as per ACDS Prospectus duly signed by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer. Copy of serving certificate, dependency certificate
13 Aadhaar card.
14. Candidate’s latest passport-size photo.
15 Specimen signature of the candidate.
ELIGIBILITY
The candidates, who have qualified in NEET UG 2026 by securing cut-off marks or above have to apply for determining the State Merit position for Management Quota seats subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations/Prospectus for the AY 2026-27.
A candidate for admission into Under graduate courses under Competent Authority Quota in Telangana should be Indian Nationals, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders.
i If the candidate has studied in an Educational Institution in such local area for a period of not less than 4 consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared in relevant qualifying examination.
OR
ii Where during the whole or any part of the four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be, first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he has not studied in Educational Institutions, if he has resided in that local area for a period of not less than four years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared.
iii Local area herein means the State of Telangana. Further, in case the candidate has not studied in any educational institution and has resided in the local area as stated at (ii) above, to be eligible for admission into Under graduate courses under Competent Authority Quota, the candidate should have appeared for the relevant qualifying examination in the State of Telangana.
A Provided that a candidate who studies outside Telangana for any period during the requisite four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared, or as the case may be, first appeared in the relevant qualifying examination, will be eligible to be considered if they fall under any of the below categories-
1 Children of employees of the Telangana State Government who have served or are serving outside Telangana corresponding to the candidate’s year/s of study outside Telangana.
2 Children of serving or retired officers belonging to the Telangana cadre of All India Services (IAS/IFS/IPS) who have served or are serving outside Telangana corresponding to the candidate’s year/s of study outside Telangana.
3 Children of defence personnel/ex-servicemen/Central Armed Police Force service who, at the time of joining service, have declared their hometown to be in the State of Telangana and who have served or are serving outside Telangana corresponding to the candidate’s year/s of study outside Telangana.
4 Children of employees of a Corporation/Agency/Instrumentality under Government of Telangana, liable to be transferred anywhere in India as per the terms and conditions of his/her employment, who have served or are serving outside Telangana corresponding to the candidate’s year/s of study outside Telangana.
B Subject to the candidate submitting certificate of employment from the competent authority for the candidate’s father/mother’s service outside the State for the period corresponding to the candidate’s year/s of study outside Telangana.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
In accordance with NMC Regulations, the candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English.
i OC/EWS candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.
ii BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.
iii OC/EWS PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.
1 The Candidate should have qualified in NEET UG 2026 as per cut-off scores notified above.
2 Community and Special Category reservations are not applicable in Management Quota.
AGE
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2026. The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2026 need not apply for the counselling. The above age criteria are applicable to all candidates of all categories.
