NEET counselling: BFUHS asks domicile candidates to submit declaration, details
Faridkot: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) released the list of candidates who have applied in a State other than Punjab for the benefit of residence for obtaining admission under NEET UG2022. The details related to domicile have also been released.
The list consists of Sno, Mno, Reg No, Name, F'Name, NEET Roll no, NEET Marks, NEET Rank, and Bonafide Resident of Punjab Claimed State Applied for the benefit of Residence Other than Punjab. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.
As per the notice, it has come to the notice of the university that many candidates who have applied for allocation of seats being the bonafide resident in the State of Punjab, as per clause 11 of the Punjab Govt notification no. 5/5/2021-5HB-111/2221 dated 22.8.22 and as per clarification issued on 14.10.2022, have also applied under state quota of other states, namely Haryana, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, UP, etc. for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under NEET UG 2022.
The candidates have submitted the declaration as follows, "that I have not applied/ not claimed the benefit of residence elsewhere in any other state/UT for admission to MBBS/BDS courses session 2022 in state quota counseling except Central Counseling by MCC/DGHS."
As per the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India/ NMC, the result of Round 1 of States Counseling is to be declared by 2.11.22. Hence in compliance, the result of Round 1 State Counseling under NEET UG 2022 will be declared on 2.11.22.
The result of candidates as per the list attached will be withheld and shall not be declared on 2.11.2022 unless and until they submit the declaration as given in Annexure 1. The candidates' details are those whose names have come to the knowledge of the university that they have also applied to in other states for seeking admission in MBBS/BDS courses for the academic session 2022 (subject to verification) other than the State of Punjab.
One last opportunity is granted to clarify their stand on this issue and submission a declaration by 2.11.2022 (up to 5.00 pm) by email to ugadmission2022bfuhs@Rmail.com, positively failing which their candidature for state quota seat under the state of Punjab will not be considered. Any declaration submitted after the stipulated time (i.e., 5.00 pm) on 2.11.2022 will not be considered.
