NEET Counselling: KEA Extends Date Of Choice Filling, Fee Payment, Downloading Of Admission Order For Round 1 Candidates

NEET Counselling: KEA Extends Date Of Choice Filling, Fee Payment, Downloading Of Admission Order For Round 1 Candidates

Karnataka: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the date of choice filling, payment of fee, and downloading of admission order for round 1 NEET UG candidates. First-round choice implications have also been released.

As per the notice, the choice-filling process can be carried out till 22.8.2023 (11:00 am). The fee can be paid till 23.8.2023 (2:00 pm). The admission orders can be downloaded till 23.8.2023 (4:00 pm).

The candidates who have been allotted medical seats must submit bond - 1st party candidate, 2nd party – Director of Medical Education, Govt. of Karnataka.

Hence, not interested in participating in Engineering, Architecture, Farm Science, Veterinary, etc, counseling/ seat allotment. Therefore, the candidate is not eligible to participate in further rounds of medical or dental, or engineering stream, i.e., UGNEET-2023 or UGCET-2023.

100% Interested and satisfied with engineering/architecture/ veterinary /agriculture/ farm science etc. seat allotted — willing to join the engineering, etc. allotted college. Hence, not interested in medical or dental seats. Therefore not willing to participate further either in UGNEET-2023 or UGCET-2023.

Choices will not be applicable to the candidates who have entered options but are not allotted any seats. They can participate in the subsequent round as per rules/guidelines. Candidates who have entered options for medical or dental but seats not allotted can participate in the 2nd round of medical/dental, provided they have not chosen the 15' choice in the engineering stream.

Candidates are advised to select the appropriate choice in consultation with their parents. Upon selection of a particular choice, the candidate can participate in the subsequent rounds to upgradation a seat.

Not eligible for engineering, architecture, farm science, veterinary, etc. In the UGNEET Medical / Dental second-round seat allotment, if any higher-order seat is not upgraded, then the medical seat held by the candidate will remain in the candidate's favor, and the candidate should report to the college for admission. If any higher-order seat is upgraded in the next round, the candidate should report to the college for admission; the seat allotted in the first round will get canceled and offered to the next eligible candidates.

Dental Allotted. Eligible to participate in the second round for UGNEET-2023 by holding Dental. If any medical seat is allotted in the second round, the dental seat held by them will get canceled, and the candidate should compulsorily join the medical college and not be eligible to participate in engineering, farm science, etc., courses. If the medical seat is not allotted, then eligible for UGCET Engineering, Architecture, Farm Science, etc. seat allotment. If any seat is not allotted, then the seat held by the candidate will remain in the candidate's favor.
