NEET PG 2021: KEA Informs On Extended Date For Option Entry
Karnataka: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has notified that the date of option entry is extended up to 2nd March 2022 till 8:00 am for NEET PG. Previously it was till 28th February 2022.
Due to technical reasons, KEA has asked the candidates to revisit their option entries. Round 2 seat allotment results will be announced on 3rd March 2022 after 2:00 pm.
The candidates who have joined the allotted seat in round 1 or 2 of the All India Quota will not be eligible to participate in the state counselling. There is no choice selection in round 2; hence, candidates who get allotment in round 2 have to compulsorily report to the allotted college as the seat allotment is based on the priority of options as entered by the candidates.
If the seat is upgraded, the choice 2 candidates of round 1 will report to the new college, or if the seat is not upgraded, they will report to the previously allotted college.
Candidates should note that not reporting to the allotted college should not be presumed as seat surrender to KEA. This will be considered blocking the seat, attracting a penalty. Government shall initiate legal action in accordance with law against those candidates who fail to take admission in the college allotted in round 1 or round.
Candidates need to visit the website http://keaug.centralindia.cloudapp.azure.com/pgetoptnentrypdnb2021round2/main/index.php for option entry.
Candidates are requested to visit the KEA website for the seat matrix. Entered options to be saved using Save & Submit button, and print of preferences have to be taken. The candidates should not leave the option entry portal without proper logout. Always click the 'Logout' link to log out.
KEA conducts NEET PG counselling for admission to 50% state quota and 100% private colleges seats. Counselling will have 2 main rounds. The mop-up round will be conducted if any seats are left vacant after the round 2.
