NEET PG 2024 Cut-Off lowered- TN Health Invites Fresh Applications
Tamil Nadu- The Tamil Nadu (TN) Health is inviting fresh applications for admission to postgraduate (PG) MD/MS degree, diploma and DNB courses for the academic year 2024-25, as the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently reduced the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) cut-off percentile.
Keeping in view of the revised cut-off percentile issued by the DGHS (MCC), the qualifying percentile for PG-MD/MS Degree/Diploma /DNB Courses for NEET PG Counselling 2024-25 has been reduced across all categories by MoHFW, the official notice in this regard stated. Therefore, candidates can apply through online application from 06 January 2025 5.00 PM to 09 January 2025, 5.00 PM and upload all relevant documents as per the prospectus. However, the candidates with lower percentile who already applied need not apply again. The revised cutoff percentile are as follows-
1 General Category/EWS- 15 percentile and above will be eligible to participate in counselling.
2 SC/ST/OBC/ PwD category- 10 percentile and above will be eligible to participate in counselling.
APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION FEES
As per the prospectus, the application fee for DNB Broad Specialty (Post MBBS, Post Diploma), Post MBBS Diploma seats (2 years Diploma course) for service candidates and PG Degree, Diploma in Government Medical Colleges and Government seats in Self-Financed Medical Colleges affiliated to TN Dr MGR Medical University 2024-25 session is Rs 3,000/-, which is non-refundable. In addition, the registration fee is Rs 1000/-, which is non-refundable. However, Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar) / Scheduled Tribe candidates of Tamil Nadu native are exempted from payment of the cost of the application.
DOCUMENTS
Candidates must upload only visibly clear Self-attested photocopies of the following certificates/documents-
1 NEET PG 2024-Score Card.
2 NEET PG 2024-Admit Card.
3 MBBS Degree Certificate and Diploma Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate.
4 CRMI Completion Certificate.
5 CRRI Completion Certificate.
6 Permanent or Provisional Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.
7 Community Certificate issued by the competent authority of the Government of Tamil Nadu indicating the community status of candidates belonging to Backward Community / Backward Community (Muslim) / Most Backward Community / Denotified Communities / Schedule Caste / Schedule Caste (Arunthathiyar) / Scheduled Tribe candidates should produce community certificates issued by a Revenue Divisional Officer of the competent jurisdiction, Government of Tamil Nadu.
8 TNPSC / MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order (For Service Candidates).
9 Nativity Certificate by the competent authority.
10 For candidates applying under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category should obtain a recent medical certificate from the regional medical board and upload a clear copy of the Persons with Disability (PwD) certificate.
11 To upload the eligibility certificate obtained from the TN.Dr.MGR Medical University, Guindy, Chennai-32. (Only for the candidates who have qualified from other Universities).
12 Candidates are instructed to produce the original Certificates / Documents to the Head of the institution, at the time of admission for certificate verification.
13 The same photo that has been uploaded for NEET PG 2024/DNB PD-CET 2024 must be uploaded for online application.
14 Post Card size colour photographs (4”x6”) (size: 50kb to 300kb) to be uploaded.
15 Visible copies of the Aadhaar Card have to be uploaded. Copy of Passport or voter’s ID or Driving license to be uploaded, as supportive document.
