NEET PG 2024: NBE Issues Test Day Advisory for Candidates, Details
New Delhi- The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a Test Day advisory for National Eligibility-Entrance Test for Postgraduate Admissions - NEET PG 2024 applicants.
NBEMS is going to conduct NEETPG 2024 on 23rd June 2024 from 9 AM to 12:30 PM on a computer-based platform across the country.
As per the Test Day advisory, all the applicants of the NEET PG 2024 are advised to-
1 Print your admit card back to back on a single A4 size paper.
2 Reach the allotted test centre well in time to avoid delay in arrival on exam day. 3 Carry all prescribed documents which shall be verified at the time of entry.
4 Avoid carrying any items which are prohibited inside the test centre.
5 Carry supportive medical documents should you need to use medicine/ medical assistance devices inside the test centre.
6 Keep your admit card and identity proof readily available at all times inside the exam centre.
7 Avoid tattooing your fingers with henna/colours to avoid difficulties in finger biometric-based registration for the examination.
8 Maintain silence and discipline during the examination.
9 Raise your hand to call the invigilator should you need any assistance during the examination Complete your time-bound sections of the question paper within the time limits prescribed.
10 Refrain from talking to and/or peeping into the computer system of fellow candidates during the examination.
11 Cooperate with exam functionaries and follow their instructions.
12 Be cautious of unscrupulous elements promising any unfair assistance in the examination.
Apart from this, all the applicants of the NEET PG 2024 are instructed that all prohibited items mentioned in the admit card will not be permitted inside the exam centre.
Use of Washrooms will be prohibited after registration till the start of the examination. However, washrooms can be used, before the registration or after the start of examinations.
Water Bottles/ Eatables are not allowed inside the exam centre except for Diabetics/Pregnant ladies who are allowed to carry small amounts of simple sugar/ food items in transparent pouches after verification.
Use of Face Mask shall not be allowed inside the exam centre unless supported with medical documents.
Also, candidates are also not allowed to carry any pen/pencil. No rough paper shall be provided during the examination. A digital normal calculator will be provided on the candidate's computer screen.
The examination is under close surveillance and any indulgence in any unfair practice will be strictly dealt with by NBEMS as per provisions of applicable laws and guidelines.
Lastly, NBEMS has also advised all the applicants for NEET-PG 2024 to carefully read the information bulletin and admit cards issued to them to avoid any last-minute hassles.
NEET-PG is an eligibility-and-entrance examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD and MS and PG Diploma Courses. Post MBBS DNB Courses, Post MBBS Direct 6-year DrNB courses and NBEMS diploma courses are also undertaken through NEET-PG this year.
SCHEME OF NEET-PG 2024
The NEET PG exam comprises 200 Multiple Choice Questions with each question having 4 options in English only. Candidates are required to select the correct answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question. the examination time to complete the paper is 3 hours and 30 minutes. There shall be a 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
