NEET PG 2024: UP DGME releases choice filling instructions for Round 1 Candidates
Uttar Pradesh- The Director General of Medical Education (DGME) Uttar Pradesh has released certain important instructions regarding online choice filling of the 1st round of UP National Eligibility and Entrance-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Counselling 2024 (MD/MS/DNB).
The online registration in MD/MS/Diploma/DNB courses under the counselling of UP NEET PG-2024 was done in September from 23rd to 28th September 2024. Now, below are the important instructions regarding online choice filling of the 1st round of UP NEET PG Counselling 2024 (MD/MS/DNB)-
1 In the 1st round of counselling under UP NEET PG-2024, only those candidates who have deposited the registration/security amount by the prescribed dates and have been updated on the NIC server by the bank are eligible for the choice-filling process.
2 Candidates seeking admission in private sector medical colleges/universities are advised to fill/lock their choices only after obtaining complete information about the concerned college by themselves or their guardians.
3 Candidates desirous of admission to seats in private sector medical colleges under the academic session 2024-25 should lock their choice only after reviewing all the fees charged by minority and non-minority colleges/institutions/universities as prescribed by the Government Order, which is available on the departmental UPDGME official website.
4 It is mandatory to lock the choices after online choice filling. In case of not locking the choices, the candidate will not be included in the seat allocation process. The entire responsibility for this will be of the candidate himself.
5 The candidate will fill the choice online on the basis of preference for admission to government/private sector medical colleges. The candidate should fill the choice of only those colleges in which he is interested in taking admission. There is no limit for online choice filling.
6 After the candidate locks his/her choice, there can be no change or alteration in it. Nor will any application received in this regard at the Directorate General be considered.
The time table of online NEET PG counseling for the first round for admission to postgraduate courses (MD/MS/Diploma and DNB) in Government/Autonomous/private medical colleges/institutes/ universities/hospitals under medical Health is as follows:-
