NEET PG 2026 answer key to be released soon
New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to release the provisional answer key and response sheet for the NEET PG 2026 shortly. An official update from the authority is awaited.
The direct download link for the answer key and response sheet will be made live on the NBE official website. Candidates can download the answer key using their login credentials, namely, their application number and password.
The NEET PG response sheet will contain the answers marked by the students who appeared for the exam. The answer key will include the correct answers to every question from the NEET PG 2026 question paper.
STEPS TO CHECK NEET PG ANSWER KEY 2026
STEP 1- Visit the official NBEMS website.
STEP 2- Go to the NEET PG 2026 section.
STEP 3- Click on the Application Link under the NEET PG 2026 tab.
STEP 4- Select the Login option.
STEP 5- Enter the required user ID and password.
STEP 6- Click on the answer key and provisional response sheet link. Question IDs, correct answers and recorded responses will be displayed.
STEP 7- Check the details and download the answer key or response sheet.
The question paper of NEET PG 2026 had 180 multiple-choice questions, for which a total of 720 marks were allotted.
The marking scheme is as follows: +4 marks for each correct answer, -1 mark for each wrong answer and no marks for unanswered questions.
Approximately 2.66 lakh candidates appeared for NEET PG 2026; the exam was conducted for 265,980 candidates across 1,111 centers in 338 cities. A total of 263,535 candidates completed the exam. However, 2,445 candidates from Jaipur had to retake the exam because it was disrupted by a power outage at two centers in the Sitapura area.
The results for NEET PG 2026 are scheduled to be declared by September 30.
