NEET PG Counselling 2023: MCC Issues Notice for resigned candidates who will not be allowed to participate in Round 3
New Delhi : The Medical Counselling Committee, MCC has issued a notice for resigned candidates who will not be allowed to participate in the Round 3 NEET PG counselling.
The MCC, in its notice, referred to its earlier notice dated 12.09.2023 wherein resignation was allowed with forfeiture by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) since many requests were received from PG candidates who had been allotted seats through Round-2 of state counselling.
In larger interest of candidates, the competent authority decided to provide facility of resignation to such candidates from 10:00 A.M of 13.09.2023 to 03:00 P.M of 13.09.2023. The seats so vacated were added in the seat matrix of Round-3 and they were available to participating candidates for choice filling in Round-3, the MCC said.
In this regard, it is informed that candidates who resigned during this time with forfeiture of their security deposit will not be allowed to participate in Round-3 of PG Counselling 2023 since these candidates were allowed to resign on special consideration by competent authority to join state quota seat. However, it is pertinent to mention that resignation was not allowed at that time as per counselling scheme, the notice added.
MCC has released the fresh schedule for NEET counselling after the reduction of cutoff percentile.
