NEET PG counselling 2026: MCC releases tentative schedule, round 1 registrations from October 12- Check dates for all rounds
New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), functioning under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has released the tentative NEET PG counselling 2026 schedule for the academic year 2026-27.
The schedule covers the allotment process for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, 100% Deemed/Central Universities seats and registration only for the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS).
According to the schedule, counselling will be conducted in four rounds—Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and the Online Stray Vacancy Round.
Registration for Round 1 will begin on October 12, 2026, and remain open until noon on October 21, 2026. The payment facility will be available until 3:00 PM on October 21.
Choice filling for the first round will commence on October 13 and close at 10:00 AM on October 22. The seat allotment result is scheduled for October 24, followed by reporting and joining from October 26 to November 2, 2026.
The PG academic session is scheduled to commence on November 20, 2026. Reporting for the Online Stray Vacancy Round will conclude on December 31, 2026.
