NEET PG counselling: DME Gujarat opens round 2 choice filling, 235 seats added

The online choice filling process applies to all eligible candidates included in the ACPPGMEC merit list, seeking admission to Government, Management, and NRI quota seats in Government and Self-Financed Medical Colleges across the state. According to the schedule, the 2nd Round Choice Filling (Online) process will end on 22 December 2025. Below is the detailed schedule

SCHEDULE

All candidates are requested to follow the choice filling of counselling as per his/her desire, with/without considering the seat matrix available on the website-

1 Vacant NRI seats will be converted to Management seats.

2 Vacant Management seats will be converted to Government seats.

3 Vacant Institutional seats (Open/SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) will be converted to the respective category of State seats (Open/SC/ST/SEBC/EWS).

4 Vacant Reserved Category State seats (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) will be converted to OPEN State seats.

5 Vacant In-service/PwD seats will be converted to State seats in the respective category.

6 The above procedure will be followed during the allotment process of the third round.

Along with this, the ACPPGMEC Government of Gujarat has also released the details of newly added postgraduate medical seats after Round 2 counselling for the academic year 2025-26. According to the seat matrix, a total of 235 MD and MS seats have been added across multiple medical specialities and colleges in the state
