NEET PG Counselling: Mop-Up Round Schedule Released for Assam Admissions, Details
Assam: The Director of Medical Education (DME) has released counselling schedule related to the Mop-Up round for admission into vacant PG seats in Government Medical Colleges of Assam under the Assam State Quota.
Candidates who appeared in NEET-PG-2021 can participate in online counselling. However, they must fulfill all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Assam Medical Colleges (Regulation of Admission to Post-Graduate Courses) Rules, 2006, all subsequent amendments and meet the cut-off scores in NEET PG-2021. The name and NEET PG-2021 Roll No. should be there in the list of eligible candidates published earlier.
The candidates who have already joined in their allotted seats in rounds 1 and 2 under 50% AIQ cannot participate in the Mop-Up round of counselling for 50% State Quota seats.
DME has further notified that online registration for the counselling will be available at the official website www.dme.assam.gov.in from 27th April 2022 till 28th April 2022, 12:00 am. The candidates who have already registered and participated in rounds 1 and 2 of state counselling need not register again. They will be able to participate in the online choice filling of this round for fresh allotment or change of subject or college.
Candidates can do the choice filling between 30th April 2022 till 2nd May 2022, 5:00 pm. The facility for locking of choice will be available on 2nd May 2022 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The choices will be locked automatically if not locked earlier by the candidates. On 5th May 2022, after processing the data, a college-wise and subject-wise list of selected candidates will be published along with admission modalities.
