NEET PG Counselling: MP DME notifies on Cancellation of NRI Domicile Candidature, details
Madhya Pradesh- The Madhya Pradesh Director of Medical Education (MPDME) has released a notice regarding the cancellation of NRI Domicile Candidate MP State Combined Counselling National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Round 3 Counselling for the academic year 2024.
As per the notice, MPDME has released a list of 48 registered NRI candidates whose domicile credentials/ MBBS passing status from MP has been found invalid. These candidates are advised to present themselves in person at the DME office between 10:30 am to 05:00 pm on 20 January 2025 or tomorrow i.e. 21 January 2025, with original Domicile for BBS passing from MP credentials/documents, failing which their candidature will stand cancelled and they would be debarred from further rounds of MP NEET PG 2024 counselling. However, no correspondence in this regard will be entertained after 05:00 pm tomorrow.
Meanwhile, MPDME had announced the NRI allotment on 08 January 2025 and along with this, the admission process was conducted from 09 to 13 January 2025. In which reporting at the allotted private medical colleges, online resignation/cancellation of admission, willingness to upgrade for the second round by NRI and committed candidates process took place from 09 to 13 January 2025.
Medical Dialogues has earlier reported that a petition was filed in the High Court Jabalpur regarding the admission of NRIs in the first round of MP State Combined NEET PG Counselling 2024 which was recently dismissed by the Hon’ble Court in the final order. Therefore, MPDME is again starting the admission process for the NRI in the 1st round of MP State Combined NEET PG counselling 2024.
MPDME Directorate of Medical Education (DME) is a department of Madhya Pradesh Medical University (MPMSU) that provides counselling for courses and departments related to medical education.
