NEET PG, MDS Admissions: DME Gujarat notifies on choice filling for round 1, details

Gujarat: The Director of Medical Education (DME Gujarat) informed about details related to choice filling for admission of Government Seats, Management Seats and NRI Seats of MD/MS/Diploma/MDS Courses in Government and Self-financed Medical & Dental Colleges and admission in CPS Diploma Courses in Government District hospitals and Self-Financed & Private Hospitals for the academic year 2022- 23 for round 1 of the counselling process.

The candidates can fill the choices till 2nd October 2022, 3.30 pm. After that, the choices filled by the candidates will be displayed on 2nd October 2022 till midnight. The seat allotment display will be done on 3rd October 2022 at 6:00 am.

As per DME, online Allotment of seats is done based on merit cum choice. The choice can be based on a Specific Branch, Specific Institute/Place, Government or SFI, and Choice on the basis of fees. In the choice filling of round 2, choices available for candidates/Allotment of seats will be carried out as per the Closure of the first round.

Suppose the candidate is unable to secure the allotted seat for whatsoever reason. In that case, such a candidate shall not be eligible for admission in the same subject in the same institute in the successive rounds of counselling.

Steps to fill the choices –

1. Enter USER ID (SR NO. of PIN), Password, 14 Digit PIN, Captcha & Click on Submit button.

2. Click here on choice details.

3. Fill in the choices. The choices can be filtered by branch, subject, institute type, seat type and institute. An unlimited number of choices can be added. Choices can be moved or deleted as per preference. Choices can be re-arranged according to the serial number.

4. After the save and exit choices page, choices can be reviewed.

5. Click on modify choices to modify choices.

6. After typing 14-digit PIN no., choices can be locked.

7. After filling in the choice, lock the choices and take the printout.

8. Again, Un-Lock choices after entering 14-digit PIN No. to modify the choices.

Candidates note that if they fail to lock choices, they will be automatically locked on the last day.
