NEET PG Mop up round counselling held for 12 seats stands cancelled: AFMC Pune
Pune : Through a recent notice , AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) has informed about the cancellation of AFMS NEET PG Mop up round counselling for PG medical admissions 2021.
It is intimated that subsequent to the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court regarding cancellation of the AIQ Mop up round, the AFMS Mop up round counseling for NEET PG 2021 for 12 AFMS seats, also STANDS CANCELLED, the notice uploaded on the official website of AFMC stated.
Fresh dates for the AFMS Mop up round will be intimated after the AIQ Mop up dates.
The AFMC had earlier informed about the conduction of the Stray Vacancy Round for NEET PG 2021 counselling on 02-03 April 2022, 07:30 AM at Dhanvantari Auditorium at AFMC, Pune which had been deferred.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(a) A candidate must be a citizen of India
(b) Candidates NOT holding any seats in All India NEET PG 2021 counseling
(c) Only Priority III/ IV/V candidates of AFMS matrix may apply. They should have registered in the MCC website for the Mop up round. No fresh registration for stray vacancy needed (as per MCC couseling schedule). Priority I/II are not eligible for the stray vacancy round.
(d) Age criteria:-
(i) Sponsored candidate : As per Govt. of India rules.
(ii) Civilian candidates : Maximum permissible age will be 30 years on 31 Dec 2022 (DOB on or after 01 Jan 1993).
(e) Candidates must have MBBS Degree registered with State Medical Council or MCI. Students who have completed/ are completing internship by 30 Sep 2021 are eligible to apply alongwith provisional registration certificate.
(f) The candidate must have appeared in NEET- PG 2021 and scored a minimum of 35th percentile score. (The cut off score for 35th percentile is 247 as revised by MCC vide their public notice Ref.U12021/06/2021-MEC dt 12.03.2022)
(g) There is no reservation based on caste/ religion etc. and the selection will be purely on the basis of merit.
(h) A candidate who is already pursuing any post graduate course shall not be eligible for admission to another PG course in the academic year 2021
