NEET PG Round 3 Counselling 2024 Seat Matrix- MCC Withdraws 10 Seats from PGIMS Navi Mumbai
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently withdrawn a total of 10 seats from the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Round 3 counselling for the academic year 2024 seat matrix.
This has been announced through a notice stating that the MCC of DGHS has received information from 1 institute regarding withdrawing a total of 10 seats from the seat matrix of Round 3 of PG Counselling 2024.
The institute from which seats have been withdrawn is the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), where a total of 10 seats in 4 specialities of OP, BC, SC and ST categories have been withdrawn. Therefore, these 10 withdrawal seats will be removed from the Seat Matrix before the allotment process of Round 3 of PG Counselling 2024.
As per the seat matrix, the highest number of seats have been withdrawn from the MD (Obstetrics & Gynecology)/MS (Obstetrics & Gynecology) (OBGY) speciality followed by the MD (General Medicine). Whereas, the least number of seats have been withdrawn from MD (Paediatrics CS) and MS (Orthopaedics). Below are details-

Earlier, MCC had withdrawn over 50 seats from the NEET PG Round 1 and 2 counselling for the academic year 2024-25. On this, MCC has released a new withdrawal list of the seats in NEET PG rounds 1 & 2 counselling 2024. As per the list, a total of 57 seats have been withdrawn from rounds 1 & 2 across medical colleges in India. Of these, the maximum number of 16 seats have been withdrawn from Rajasthan and 1 seat each has been withdrawn from Kerala, Goa and Assam.
