NEET Provisional Answer Key released for Manipur candidates, check out how to challenge

Manipur: National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notification related to the challenge of the provisional answer key, display of scanned images of the OMR answer sheet, and display of recorded responses for the candidates of Manipur State of NEET UG 2023. The provisional answer key has also been released for the exam held on 7th May 2023.

As per the notice, NEET UG 3 in the state of Manipur for 8753 candidates at 34 centres located in 11 Cities on the request of the State Government of Manipur in the wake of the law-and-order situation on 06 June 2023 from 12:00 PM to 03:20 PM.

The provisional answer keys scanned images of the OMR answer sheet, and recorded responses for NEET (UG) – 2023 for the candidates of Manipur State on the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/ for candidates to challenge as per the following details –

To facilitate the candidates, a scanned image of the OMR Answer Sheet has been sent to the registered e-mail address given by the Candidates at the time of submission of the Online Application Form of NEET (UG) – 2023. Candidates are being given an opportunity to make an online challenge against the provisional Answer Key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per answer challenged, within a specified period as indicated above.

Candidates can also submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a nonrefundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question challenged. This opportunity is being provided to the candidates who appeared on 06 June 2023 in the 11 cities mentioned below. For candidates who appeared on 07 May 2023, it will not be visible to them.

The following are the cities included –

1. Aizawl (Mizoram)

2. Kohima/Dimapur (Nagaland)

3. Shillong (Meghalaya)

4. Guwahati (Assam)

5. Jorhat (Assam)

6. Silchar (Assam)

7. Kolkata (West Bengal)

8. Delhi

9. Bengaluru (Karnataka)

10. Imphal (Manipur)

The detailed information along with the procedure for the challenge of Answer Key and Recorded Responses are enclosed in Annexure 1 and Annexure 2 in the notice below.

The payment of the processing fee may be made through, Debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm by 12 June 2023 (up to 04:00 PM). No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The challenges will not be accepted through any other mode.

Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject Experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after 12 June 2023 (up to 04:00 PM).

Procedure for Challenge of Answer Key -

1. Please go to the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/

2. Click ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge (s)’

3. Select the Test Booklet Code.

4. Login with the Application Number and Date of Birth and enter the Security Pin as displayed and submit.

5. The candidates will see the following Questions are in sequential order -

NEET (UG) – 2023

50+50+50+50

Questions

Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology

6. The number next to the Question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the most appropriate Answer Key to be used by the NTA.

7. If the candidates wish to challenge this option, they may use any one or more of the Options given in the next four columns by clicking the check box

8. The candidates may want to upload supporting documents in which they can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents are to be put in a single pdf file).

9. After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET(UG) - 2023, ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen.

10. The candidates will see a screen displaying their challenges.

11. Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’.

12. Select the Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee @ ₹ 200/- for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.

13. After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt.

Procedure for Challenge of OMR Answer Sheet Grading and Recorded Responses -

1. Please go to the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/

2. Login with the Application Number and Date of Birth and enter the Security Pin as displayed and submit.

3. Select the “OMR Challenge” in the left pane.

4. Click on the OMR Challenge Link.

5. The candidates will see the following Questions are in sequential order –

NEET (UG) – 2023

50+50+50+50

Questions

Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology

6. Select the Question(s) for which you wish to challenge the Recorded Response.

7. The number next to the Question under the column ‘Captured Response as per OMR Sheet’ stands for the option opted for by the Candidates in the OMR Answer Sheets.

8. Once the candidates select any Question for Challenge, they will see three options under the column ‘Candidate’s Claim’.

9. If the candidates wish to challenge this option, they may use the Options given in the ‘Candidate’s Claim’ column.

10. After clicking their desired option, for Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology for NEET (UG) - 2023, scroll down, ‘Submit’, and move to the next screen.

11. The candidates will see a screen displaying their challenges.

12. Click on ‘Submit' and Pay Fee Finally’.

13. Select the Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee @ ₹ 200/- for each question/grade challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.

14. After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt

The provisional answer key for the exam conducted on 7th May 2023 includes question number and response. The detailed provisional answer key is enclosed in the notice below.
