NEET SS 2024 Results Expected by April 30

New Delhi- The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducted the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Super Speciality (NEET SS) exam 2024 on 29th (Saturday) & 30th March 2025 (Sunday).
As per the official schedule released by NBE, the cut-off date for qualifying MD/ MS/DNB Broad Specialty qualification towards determination of eligibility for appearing in NEET-SS 2024 is fixed by 30th April 2025, and the result will be declared by April 30, 2025.
NEET-SS is an eligibility-and-ranking test for admission to various DM, MCh, and DrNB super speciality courses. Even though the previous academic calendar required the NEET SS 2024 exam to be conducted in 2024, it was delayed by an entire year.
While a section of the medical fraternity had earlier criticized the authorities for their failure to conduct the NEET SS exam in 2024, the decision to delay the exam was justified by the authorities, citing that most of the doctors would remain ineligible for the exam since the 2021 batch commenced their courses only in 2022.
Finally, the exam was held on 29th and 30th of March 2025. On Day 1 i.e. March 29, 2025, the subjects that were tested included the ENT Group, Respiratory Medicine Group, Obstetrics & Gynaecology Group, Medical Oncology Group, Orthopaedics Group, and Critical Care Group. Meanwhile, the list of subjects that were tested on Day 2 of the exam dated March 30 included Medical Group, Radiodiagnosis Group, Microbiology Group, Pathology Group, Psychiatry Group, Surgical Group, Paediatric Group, Anaesthesiology Group, and Pharmacology Group.
Students, who appeared in the NEET SS 2024 exam, gave mixed reactions regarding the difficulty level of the NEET SS 2024 question paper. While those who appeared on Day 1 said that the difficulty level was moderate to tough, the aspirants who appeared on Day 2 said that the question paper was tough. While some groups such as Obstetrics and Gynaecology questions were seemingly easier than last year, some other groups such as Medical Oncology and Critical Care Medicine were tougher than last year.
