NEET SS 2025: Here's how to apply!

New Delhi: Through an information bulletin, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released detailed instructions regarding the examination fee and application process for the upcoming NEET SS 2025.

The NEET-SS 2025, scheduled to be held on December 26 and 27, 2025, serves as the gateway for admission to DM, MCh, and DrNB Super Speciality courses in medical institutions across India.

INSTRUCTIONS TO FILL ONLINE NEET SS 2025 APPLICATION FORM

1 NEW USER REGISTRATION- All candidates desirous of applying for NEET-SS 2025 shall be required to create an online profile of themselves to generate a UserID and Password.

2 APPLICANT LOGIN- This User ID and Password, so created, will allow the candidate to log in as an applicant for NEET-SS 2025 and register an online application. The “Go To Application” link will allow the applicant to continue with the application submission immediately after user creation.

3 NAME OF CANDIDATE- Please mention your full name as in the Post Graduate Medical Qualification Certificate. Name as entered by the candidate while creating his/her User ID shall be reflected in a non-editable format in his/her examination application form. No change in the name shall be permissible under any circumstances after submission of an application. The candidate shall be required to produce his/her Govt issued ID proof bearing the same name at the test centre on the test day to seek entry. It is strongly advised not to submit an application with an error in the candidate’s name, as it shall not be allowed to be edited after application submission. If the user has entered his/her name incorrectly while registering the user, please create another user with the correct name.

4 FATHER’S NAME AND MOTHER’S NAME- Please mention the full name of your Father and Mother carefully while registering the user.

5 GENDER AND DATE OF BIRTH- Indicate your gender and Day, Month & Year of your birth. Please enter the correct date of birth carefully while registering the user.

6 NATIONALITY- Please choose your nationality amongst the options given: Indian, Non-Resident Indian (NRI), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)/PIO and Non-OCI Foreign Nationals. Indian Citizens who are not NRIs should choose Indian. An Indian Citizen should choose Non-Resident Indian if he/she is an NRI. If you are a Foreign National but also an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), please choose OCI/PIO. Foreign Nationals who are not OCI should choose Non-OCI Foreign National.

7 EMAIL ID- The Email ID chosen by the applicant candidate shall be verified through a system-generated OTP for user creation. The same email ID can not be used for registration of any other user concurrently. Please note that all email correspondence with the applicant candidate shall be done at this email ID only.

8 SELECTION OF QUESTION PAPER GROUPS- A candidate will be able to choose amongst the available choices of Question Paper Groups for which his/her broad speciality qualification is an eligible feeder. Accordingly, the candidates will be able to choose one or more than one groups to appear in. The Examination fee shall be charged accordingly.

9 UPLOAD OF PRESCRIBED IMAGES- Images which are not as per the prescribed specification shall not be considered and may lead to rejection of the application. Please ensure that the uploaded photograph is a recent photograph and, in any case, should not have been taken more than 3 months before the date of application submission. Uploading a photograph which is not a recent one or that is not as per the prescribed image upload guidelines and/or failure to rectify the same in the final edit window, shall invite rejection of the application.

10 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT- An acknowledgement email shall be sent to the registered email ID confirming submission of an application by the candidate. Submission of the application shall be completed only after the successful payment of the examination fee. The candidate should confirm the status of payment in the application form PDF, where “S” would stand for “Successful” and “F” would stand for “Failed”.

11 EDIT WINDOW- Candidates who have successfully submitted their payment for the application during the Application Submission window shall only be allowed to edit their applications from 28 to 30 November 2025. No new application can be registered or payment can be made during the edit window. Any information/ document can be changed/corrected during the edit window except for Name, Test City, Nationality, Mobile Number and Email ID. Information can be edited any number of times before submitting the application during the edit window. The last submitted information will be saved in the records.

12 FINAL/SELECTIVE EDIT WINDOW- Deficiency related to images uploaded (photograph, Signature, Thumb Impression) shall be intimated to the concerned candidates and the same can be corrected during the final/selective edit window, i.e. 12 to 14 December 2025. No further opportunity shall be given to make corrections. Candidates are advised to submit the images in their application as per the prescribed image upload guidelines. Failure to submit images as per guidelines and/or failure to rectify the images shall invite rejection of the application.

13 MOBILE NO- Please provide the desired mobile number for receiving Examinations-related communications sent through SMS. The mobile number chosen by the applicant candidate shall not be the primary means to communicate with the candidate for examination purposes.

The following sequence shall be observed while filing the online application form-

1 Fill the user registration form to generate the User ID/Application ID and Password.

2 User ID and Password will be sent through SMS and Email.

3 Complete the application form and upload your Photograph, scanned signature, Thumb impression & Prescribed documents.

4 Choose your Test City and pay the Examination Fee.

5 Agree to the declaration and submit the Application.

6 Take a printout of the filled Application form with the Transaction ID printed on it for records.

EXAMINATION FEE

The candidate shall be required to pay Rs. 3,500/- as the examination fee for each group in which he/she chooses to appear. Fee shall neither be carried forward to a future date nor refunded under any circumstances. Any claim for refund, adjustment or carrying forward of the Application fee will not be entertained.

The prescribed exam fee should be remitted through the payment gateway provided using a Credit Card or a Debit Card issued by banks in India, or other modes as may be made available and have been provided on the web page. Fee cannot be deposited through any mode other than the payment gateway available while submitting the online application form.

Examination fees in respect of candidates who are absent or have been declared ineligible for any reason will be forfeited. Candidates are advised to read the information bulletin for NEET-SS 2025 carefully and pay the examination fee only if they fulfil the eligibility criteria.

Meanwhile, according to the schedule, the online application submission window will also remain open from November 5, 2025, 3:00 PM to November 25, 2025, till 11:55 PM. The admit cards for eligible candidates will be issued on December 20, 2025. However, the result declaration is expected to take place by January 15, 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-
