NEET SS counselling 2024: MCC Opens Resignation Window for INI Allotted Candidates

New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice regarding the resignation process for INI allotted candidates.
As per the notice, MCC has informed that the facility of resignation is being provided to INI allotted candidates who have also joined the seats allotted through MCC in Round-1/ Round-2 of All India SS Counselling 2024.
This has been done after MCC has received many resignation requests from SS candidates who have been allotted INI seats, the notice stated. Therefore, INI allotted candidates who want to resign their Round-1 or Round-2 seat allotted through MCC should send their INI-SS rank letter along with the undertaking to MCC by email from today, i.e. 18 June 2025, 12:00 Noon of upto 12:00 Noon of 21 June 2025.
Candidates who send mail along with the required documents will only be allowed to resign from their joined seat. However, such candidates will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of SS Counselling 2024 to be conducted by MCC. Meanwhile, the resignation facility will be provided from tomorrow, i.e 19 June 2025, 11:00 A.M, upto 05:00 PM of 21 June 2025.
Moreover, the candidates who wish to resign from their seats may approach their allotted college to resign and collect their original documents within the stipulated time. It should be ensured by the candidates that the resignation letter is generated ‘Online’ from the MCC portal by the college authorities. Any offline resignation taken by the college will be treated as ‘Null & Void’. Resignation facility will be given only to INI allotted/ joined candidates.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released the schedule of online Institute Allocation for admission to DM and MCh Courses of INIs for the July 2025 session. The schedule has been released on the official website of AIIMS New Delhi
Along with this, AIIMS has also released the information brochure for the 1st round of online institute Allocation (Institute against applied subject/speciality) process for DM and MCh Courses for the July 2025 session. The information brochure detailed the eligibility, procedure and age limit for the candidates willing to participate in the online Institute Allocation.
The schedule of online Institute allocation will be opened for admission to DM and MCh Courses of INIs for the July 2025 session as per details given below-

Although, the link for the portal will be activated only for eligible candidates on “My Page” accessible by logging in using the credentials that have been used for filling out the application form and other processes related to INI SS for admission to DM and MCh Courses for the July 2025 session in the official website of AIIMS Exam Section.
