NEET SS counselling 2025: MCC adds 11 seats in 2nd round, withdraws 2

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), has issued an urgent notice announcing the addition and withdrawal of seats in the Round 2 seat matrix of the NEET SS Counselling for the academic year 2025-26.
The revised seat matrix includes the addition of 11 super-speciality seats across five institutions and the withdrawal of two DNB SS Neonatology seats from a Telangana-based hospital.
According to the notice, candidates can now exercise choices for the newly added seats, while the withdrawn seats will be removed before seat allotment processing. The changes have been made based on information received from participating institutes and NBEMS.
MCC NEET SS COUNSELLING 2025: ROUND 2 REVISED SEAT MATRIX

Candidates participating in Round 2 of NEET SS Counselling 2025 are advised to carefully review the updated seat matrix and modify their choices accordingly. However, the withdrawn seats will not be available during seat processing, while the newly added seats are now open for choice filling.
The revised matrix is expected to provide additional opportunities for aspirants seeking admission to super-speciality courses across the country.
