NMC releases revised NEET PG counselling schedule, check details

New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a revised counselling schedule for NEET PG 2025 admissions under the All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota seats.
The revised schedule was notified through an official communication and has been circulated to all medical colleges and institutions across the country.
According to the public notice, the revised counselling schedule has been issued by the Postgraduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) of NMC vide its Public Notice dated December 19, 2025, after receiving the updated timeline from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The revised schedule aims to ensure better coordination between AIQ and State Quota counselling processes.
The notice stated “the Post-Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) of National Medical Commission (NMC) on the Revised NEET-PG Counselling Schedule for the Academic Year 2025 for All India Quota & State Quota being self explanatory, duly enclosing therewith the revised NEET PG Counselling Schedule as received from MCC, DGHS inter-alia directing all State Counselling authorities to strictly adhere to the revised schedule so that incoherence between the counselling of All India Quota (AIQ) and State Quota (SQ) can be avoided in compliance of various directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India”.
Therefore, all concerned State Counselling authorities, all participating Medical Colleges/ Institutes and students are requested to kindly take note of the same/ comply with the said directions. Below is the detailed schedule-
