NOC Compulsory For In-Service Candidates to appear In NEET PG Counselling 2023: DME Tripura
Tripura: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tripura) has issued details about in-service candidates' participation in NEET PG 2023 counseling.
As per the notice, without NOG (No Objection Certificate) issued by DHS, no in-service candidates will be allowed to appear/to participate in the Tripura State NEET PG 2023 Counselling which will be held and will be duly notified in due course, to distribute State quota/ Government seats/Non-Government seats of MD/MS/ Post MBBS Diploma seats at AGMC, TMC and IGM Hospital for the academic session 2023.
DME, under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura, conducts the NEET PG counseling for admission to postgraduate medical courses across the medical colleges in the state. The counseling is conducted in online mode. Candidates must register online and submit the application form to participate in counseling. The seat allotment will be done based on NEET PG 2023 results, choices filled by the candidates, availability of seats, reservation criteria, and other relevant factors.
NEET PG 2023 exam was conducted on 5th March 2023. The result was declared on 14th March 2023, and the scorecard was released on 26th March 2023. The candidates who qualify in NEET PG 2023 conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) will only be eligible for the counseling process.
The Directorate of Medical Education under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Tripura, started functioning on 15th October 2011. This Directorate deals with matters relating to Medical Education, like Medical Colleges, Regional Pharmacy Colleges, Nursing Colleges in Government and Private Sector, Nursing Education, Paramedical Education, etc. This Directorate conducts Post Graduate courses in respect of some medical colleges.
