NTA invites applications for NEET 2026

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently opened the online application window for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH UG programmes.
The eligible and interested candidates can apply for NEET UG 2026 through the official NTA website.
According to the public notice issued by the NTA in this regard, the online submission of appltcation form process started from O8 February 2026. Therefore, candidates who wish to apply for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate courses in government and private medical colleges can apply until 9 PM on March 8. The exam will be held on 03rd May 2026 and the duration of the examination will be 18O minutes (03 hours from O2:OO PM to O5:OO PM (IST).
Meanwhile, following this, the correction in Particulars will be done from 10 March 2026 to 12 March 2026. However, other details such as Announcement of City intimation, downloading of Admit Cards from the NTA website, declaration of Result on the NTA website will be announced later on the website.
However, general category candidates will have to pay ₹1,700, while candidates from the General-Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other Backwards Classes (OBC)-Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) categories have to pay ₹1,600 and candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD) and third gender categories have to pay Rs 1,000 as the registration fee.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1 Candidates can apply for NEET (UG) 2026 through the "Online" mode only through the official website of NTA.
2 Submission of the Online Application Form may be done by accessing the NTA website. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
3 Candidate has to upload a recent passport photograph, address proof, scanned signature, etc. For detailed information, please read the Information Bulletin carefully.
4 Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
5 Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
6 Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians' only, as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
