NTRUHS Informs About Verification Process For NEET UG Sports Category Candidates

Andhra Pradesh: Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) informed about the sports & games category NEET candidates' verification process.

The candidates who have registered under the above category will have to attend physically with all original sports & games certificates and backup certificates along with one set of Xerox copies from 10.00 am onwards on 1st November 2022, 2nd November 2022, and 3rd November 2022 at Head Office of Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, IGMC Stadium, Labbipet, Vijayawada.

The candidates note that if they do not appear at the verification as per schedule will not be considered category. The list of candidates has also been released. A total of 276 candidates have applied for the above quota. The detailed list is enclosed in the notice below.

Eligibility for NEET UG –

1. The candidates should secure the cutoff scores in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) UG -2022, conducted by the National Testing Agency, New Delhi, as per section (10) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

2. The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/ Biotechnology, and English.

3. The candidate should have completed 17 years as of 31-12-2022.

The candidate's admission is strictly provisional. The fact that the Merit position was issued to them does not imply that the university accepts their candidature. It does not mean that their entries in the online application are accepted as true and correct. The candidate's eligibility for admission for the academic year 2022-23 will be examined by the University officials and officials of the concerned department based on the uploaded scanned original certificates.

If it is found at the time of admission or later that the candidates have furnished incorrect information or uploaded fake or forged documents, the university takes action that deems fit as per rules against the candidate, including cancellation of seat/admission without any notice.

The Dr. NTR University Of Health Sciences was inaugurated in the year 1986. The 1st chancellor of the university was the late N.T.Ramarao. The university offers various UG, PG, Super Speciality, and PhD. & PDF Courses in Modern Medicine, Dental Surgery, Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Para Medical Graduate Courses in its affiliated colleges. The degrees awarded by the university are recognized by professional statutory bodies, including the Medical Council of India, the Dental Council of India, the Central Council of Indian Medicine, the Central Council of Homoeopathy, and the Indian Nursing Council.
