Andhra Pradesh: Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Andhra Pradesh, has issued a notification announcing the schedule for exercising web options for admission into DNB Post MBBS Degree and Post MBBS Diploma courses under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2025.

The counselling is exclusively for in-service candidates and covers seats available in Government Hospitals across Andhra Pradesh.

The notification has been issued in continuation of the earlier admission notice, which invited applications and document uploads from eligible in-service doctors.

According to the notification, eligible candidates whose names appear in the Merit Position list can exercise their web options from today, i.e., February 2, 2026, 4:00 PM to February 4, 2026, 1:00 PM. Web options must be exercised through the official counselling portal, which is mentioned in the notice. The seat matrix, including area-wise distribution, has been made available on the university's official website.

Candidates are instructed to be careful while exercising options on the Web and take the print out of the saved options. Candidates are advised to exercise options in Courses and Hospitals in which they are really interested. If they are not interested in joining any subject or college, then they should not exercise options for the same.

Meanwhile, the candidates allotted seats must pay a University fee of ₹23,600 through online payment (debit card, credit card, or net banking) to download the allotment letter. The University fee and other fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Failure to fulfil admission requirements will result in automatic cancellation of allotment, the university warned.

The verification of original certificates will be conducted at the time of admission in the respective Hospital and in case of any discrepancy, the Provisional allotment will be cancelled and action will be initiated.

The selected candidates shall produce all the Original certificates, pay the Tuition fee, necessary bonds, etc., and complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfil the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified dates of admission, their admission will be cancelled automatically.
