Offline NEET SS admissions will not be recognised- MCC warns medical colleges
New Delhi- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notice for all the candidates and DNB, DM and MCh Institutes & Colleges regarding the admission to the DNB, DM and MCh courses.
Through the notice, MCC has informed all the candidates and the concerned DNB, DM and MCh institutes and colleges that all admissions must be carried out strictly through the MCC's official INTRAMCC portal. Therefore, institutes are required to log in to the INTRAMCC portal to complete the admission formalities of candidates allotted to them in the counselling rounds conducted by MCC.
Once the admission is confirmed, the Admission Letter must be generated online through the INTRAMCC portal only. However, this letter serves as the official proof of admission. Therefore, the generation of an admission Letter via the INTRAMCC portal is mandatory.
Further, any admission taken through offline mode, or for which the Admission Letter is not generated through the INTRAMCC portal, will be treated as null and void. Hence, such admissions will not be considered valid under any circumstances.
Meanwhile, candidates are advised to personally ensure that their admission has been processed online and that the Admission Letter has been generated through the INTRAMCC portal by the admitting college.
Medical Dialogues has earlier reported that MCC officially announced the participation of Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) institutions in the NEET SS Counselling 2024, inviting eligible candidates to apply for admission to various DM/MCh/DNB (SS) courses. AFMS conducts Post-doctoral and Super Speciality training at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune and Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi, primarily to cater for the requirement of Super Specialists in the Armed Forces. After the introduction of Common Counselling, all DMMCh seats at AFMC Pune and DNB-SS seats at AH (R&R), Delhi Cantt are a part of the common counselling at the national level under Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS, MoHFW.
