OJEE Releases Schedule For 1st Round Of Spot Counselling For MBBS, BDS Courses

Odisha: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) released the schedule for 1st round of spot counseling for admission into MBBS/BDS courses. The seat matrix has also been released.

The candidates, who get admission in Spot Round, shall report to the respective Institutions immediately by submitting a copy of the Allotment-cum-Admission Letter duly signed by the OJEE authority. Admission will be declared closed as and when seats are exhausted.

Eligibility –

All state merit-listed MBBS/BDS candidates are eligible to participate. However, candidates, who have been admitted to any Institute through All India Counselling by MCC at the end of the Mop-Up Round or through OJEE Counselling at the end of 2nd round (including upgradation), are not eligible to participate in the OJEE Spot Counselling (As per relevant orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court).

Guidelines -

1. Admission will be made strictly as per merit.

2. Physical presence of the candidate is a must for participating in the spot counseling, and no authorization will be entertained.

3. Candidates willing to participate in this round of counseling should report at the counseling hall at the scheduled time as per their category/rank. Only one person (Guardian) will be allowed with the candidate to the counseling hall.

4. Candidates must put their signatures on an attendance sheet in the sitting hall.

5. Candidates coming after the scheduled time will be allotted a seat/college from the balance of seats available at that point in time, considering merit.

6. Provisional Admission will be made at the venue of spot counseling.

7. The candidates must come with all original and photocopies of testimonials like ID proof, HS / Birth certificate, +2 Mark Sheet, +2 Pass Certificate,

8. Residential/Nativity Certificate, CLC/Transfer Certificate, etc., along with admission fees in the shape of Bank Draft drawn in favor of "OJEE," payable at Bhubaneswar, failing which no admission will be made, and the seat will be allotted to next candidate in merit.

9. Candidates admitted in any category in this round will not be allowed any further change.

10. Participation in spot counseling does not ensure admission. Seats are allotted only on merit and availability of vacancy. Once all the vacant seats are filled up, counseling will be declared closed.

11. If any seats remain vacant after the Spot Round, then a 2nd Spot Round of Counselling shall be conducted, the schedule for which will be notified later. However, candidates, who have already been admitted in any of the rounds, including the 1st Spot Round, will not be eligible to participate in the 2nd Round of Spot Counselling.

Fee structure -

FEES FOR MBBS COURSE (per annum) -

1. Govt. Institutions: Rs. 37950

2. Private Institutions (Hi-Tech MCH, Bhubaneswar): Rs. 650000 Private Institutions (Hi-Tech MCH, Rourkela): Rs. 550000

FEES FOR BDS COURSE (per annum) -

1. Govt. Institutions: Rs. Rs. 37950

2. Private Institutions (Hi-Tech MCH): Rs. 300000

NRI Candidates are to pay four times the above fees in Private Institutions. In case of any revision of the fee structure as per government decision, the same shall automatically be applied.
