PG Medical Admissions 2021: MP DME issues notice on Round 2 counselling, releases list of candidates, vacant seats
Madhya Pradesh: Director of Medical Education (DME) has released admission details a list of candidates who have opted for upgrade (virtual vacancy), vacancies in government medical colleges, list of eligible candidates for round 2 for NEET PG.
Candidates are requested to do fresh choice filling and choice locking for round 2 as per given schedule. They can do this on the portal by using their login id and password. Both domicile and non-domicile candidates can do the choice filling and locking for round 2. There is no limit for choice filling.
DME has requested the candidates to keep the choice filling list ready on paper so that they don't find it difficult to fill online. Candidates should choose the college based on the fee structure. They should choose the colleges whose fees they can afford to pay.
The 1st preference will be given to domicile candidates. If the domicile candidates names are not mentioned in the merit list, then only non-domicile candidates will be considered.
DME has further informed that candidates who belong to the unreserved category and wants to participate in round 2 of the counselling will have to pay a fee of Rs 25000. Candidates who belong to the reserved category will have to pay Rs 12500. The candidates for both categories can pay the fee online during choice filling. For a private college, the candidates have to pay Rs 200000, and NRI candidates will have to pay Rs 1000000 for round 2 counselling. The fee adjustment will be based on MP Medical Study Entry Rules 2018 rule no. 12(7).
The fee can be paid through debit card/credit card/RTGS/net banking. Once the fee is paid, an online entry slip will be provided by the college. In case of a refund, after the refund counselling process is over, the refund will be done on the registered bank account number.
For the candidates who have paid the fee for round 1 of counselling, the fee for round 2 will be adjusted accordingly. Candidates who have not been allotted any seats in round 1 of the counselling will have to pay the abovementioned fee mentioned above for round 2.
If candidates are allotted a seat but don't take admission, their registration will automatically be cancelled, and such candidates will not be eligible for further rounds of counselling. Candidates who have been allotted seats in round 2 and candidates who have upgraded their seats from round 1 will have to get admitted to the allotted college in the given time frame.
For candidates who don't take admission to the allotted college, the fee paid will be forfeited. Candidates who want to upgrade their seats from round 1 will have to do the online admission process again. Candidates who have applied for up-gradation but did not upgrade in round 2 will be considered for the same college allotted in round 1.
Candidates who have applied for up-gradation in round 2 but didn't fill the lock the fresh choices then round 1 allotted college will only be considered.
Once the allotment results are announced, the candidates can download the allotment letter using their ID and password. Candidates will have to verify their documents by being physically present at the allotment centre within the given time frame. Candidates can check the documents to be submitted on the brochure. As per DME, original documents have to be submitted.
Candidates who have opted for upgrading will have to submit round 1 admission slip, a list of documents submitted, a document verification receipt, and an allotment letter of round 2. They will also have to pay the entry fees of the new allotted college through online. If the fee paid in round 1 is more, the excess amount will be refunded after the counselling process is over.
Candidates who have taken admission in round 2 and round 1 candidates who have not upgradation can participate in the Mop-up round.

Vacancies in government medical colleges (MD/MS Course) for round 2 has also been shared. There are 402 vacancies, out of which 213 are open vacancies, 142 is 30% reserved vacancies, and 47 is NRI vacancies.
