PG medical admissions 2025: KNRUHS to close round 2 web options window tomorrow, details

KNRUHS to close Phase-2 PG medical web counselling for 2025 Tomorrow.

Telangana: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is going to end the second phase of web-based counseling for allotment of the Post Graduate Medical Non-service/Service Quota seats under Competent Authority Quota for admission into PG Medical Degree / Diploma courses for the AY 2025-26 into affiliated Government Medical Colleges/Private Non-Minority/ Private Minority Medical Colleges and Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad tomorrow.

Candidates (non-service and service) whose certificates were uploaded at the time of online registration and provisionally verified by staff of concerned departments and whose names are notified as eligible candidates in the final merit list of PG Medical Admissions on the KNRUHS website and the candidates notified as eligible in subsequent addendums are eligible to exercise web - options online from a computer with an internet connection.

Therefore, according to the notification issued by the KNRUHS in this regard, all the eligible candidates whose names are displayed in the final merit list can exercise web options as per eligibility for admission into PG Medical Degree/ Diploma seats, including Service Quota and PWD Quota seats, till tomorrow i.e. 27th December 2025, 06;00 AM subject to the following conditions-

1 The candidates who were allotted seats in the first phase of counselling and have not reported/discontinued the course after joining at the respective colleges are not eligible for exercising web-options.

2 Candidates who have not exercised web-options in the first phase of counselling are also not eligible to exercise web-options.

3 The candidates who were allotted PG Medical seats in the first phase of counselling and joined the course and are continuing in the course are eligible to exercise web-options.

FEE

Allotted Candidates have to pay the university fee of Rs 29,600/- by way of online payment gateway and download the allotment letter. Candidates who have already paid the university fee in the first phase of counselling need not pay again. The University fee and other fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances. However, the tuition fee is to be paid at the respective Medical colleges.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1 The details of seats available (seat matrix) are placed on the official website of KNRUHS. Candidates can exercise web options for PG Medical Degree / Diploma Courses in all Medical Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS as per eligibility.

2 Competent Authority Quota seats in Minority Medical Colleges will be allotted to Muslim Minority Candidates only. Muslim Minority Candidates are also eligible for Competent Authority Quota seats in other Medical Colleges.

3 Eligible Candidates as per the final merit list can exercise web options for Post Graduate seats in all affiliated Medical colleges and NIMS, Hyderabad as per their eligibility, interest and priority.

4 Eligible Service Candidates whose names are displayed in the final merit list of PG Medical Admissions on the KNURHS website can exercise web options for PG Degree/ Diploma seats notified under the service quota seat matrix for Medical Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS.

5 Candidates are advised to go through the prospectus of KNRUHS and the Government orders on Rules of PG admissions available on the website before exercising web options for the regulations.

6 Candidates exercising web-options for PG Medical Degree / Diploma courses are informed that there is no limit on the number of choices (number) for exercising web-options. Candidates can exercise web options for any number of subjects and colleges the candidate is interested in joining, as per the candidate’s eligibility.

7 Candidates are advised to exercise web options for PG seats in all courses and colleges in which they are interested to join, irrespective of available seats shown in the seat matrix, as vacancies will arise during the counselling process due to sliding of candidates from allotted seats in the first phase of counselling to other seats as per their web options in the second phase of counseling. If candidates are not interested to join in any subject or college, they should not exercise web options for the same.

8 If a PG seat is allotted in this phase of counselling as per web options exercised by the candidate, the seat allotted in 1st phase of counselling will be automatically cancelled and allotted to the other candidate. Therefore, the candidates are informed to exercise web options carefully for sliding with awareness of this fact.

9 Candidates are advised to exercise web options for PG seats in courses and colleges in which they are interested to join. If they are not interested to join in any subject or college, then they should not exercise web options for the same.

10 Candidates in the merit list are informed that if they do not exercise web options in the first phase of counselling, they are not eligible to exercise web options in subsequent phases of counselling to prevent seat blocking.

11 Original certificates will not be returned to the admitted candidate, unless the candidate discontinues the course.

12 If the candidate slides to another college during the second phase of counselling, the candidates have to get relieved from first phase joined college, collect all original certificates, fees and report to the Principal of the allotted college before the last date of joining. Candidates who do not join the course at the allotted college in this phase of counselling are not eligible for further phases of counselling.

13 Selected candidates have to report at the respective Medical Colleges before the last date for joining as specified on the allotment order, submit all original certificates, the relevant bonds and pay the tuition fee/college fee to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not fulfil the above criteria to complete the admission process within the specified date, the admission will be cancelled automatically and the candidate will not be permitted to exercise web options for subsequent rounds to prevent seat blocking.

14 Candidates are hereby informed that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted college and in case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment will be cancelled and action may be initiated as per University Regulations.

15 Candidates will receive an SMS message on their registered mobile after allotment of a seat, if allotted. Candidates are also directed to check their allotment status on the website after each phase of counselling without fail.

16 The selected candidates shall download the allotment order from the website after payment of the University fee by payment gateway by using the online payment method. (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking). Candidates should check their allotment details and report to the Principal of the respective Medical College on or before the last date specified on the allotment order

17 Candidates are instructed to take a printout of the saved options.
