PG Medical Admissions: MP DME Releases Revised Eligible candidates, Merit Lists For Mop-Up Round
Madhya Pradesh: The Director of Medical Education (DME) recently, through a written notice, has announced the revised list of eligible candidates and revised merit list of registered candidates for the Mop-Up round for PG medical courses.
DME on behalf of the Government of Madhya Pradesh conducts NEET PG counselling to provide admission into MD/MS/MDS and PG Diploma courses in medical/dental colleges.

A revised merit list of registered candidates for the Mop-Up round has also been released. In this academic session, 3551 candidates' names appear on the list, and now these candidates will be eligible for the Mop-Up round of the counselling process. Candidates will have to fresh choice filling for Mop-Up round. Candidates who opted for upgradation and did not exercise new choice filling will not be considered for allotment and shall remain admitted in previous medical colleges. Candidates who have taken admission in round 2 and round 1 candidates who have not upgradation can participate in the Mop-Up round.
Qualifying NEET-PG is mandatory to participate in the counselling. Only those candidates who are domiciled in the state of Madhya Pradesh, or those who have passed MBBS/BDS from an institute located in the state of Madhya Pradesh can participate in the counselling process.
The competent authority has decided to conduct 4 rounds of AIQ counseling from the current academic year 2021-2022 for NEET - PG. The proposed modified scheme of online 4 rounds of counselling (AIQ Round 1, 2, Mop-up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round) will be in tune with the prevailing norms of counselling being followed for Central Institutes/Universities. This will also include the fees and security deposit.
