PhD January 2024: AIIMS Nagpur notifies on Document Submission, Eligibility Status Of Candidates

Nagpur: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Nagpur) has released the details about document submission along with the eligibility status of candidates for PhD January 2024 session.

The required documents are to be submitted as signed scanned copies to email: academics@aiimsnagpur.edu.in. Timeline for regularization of candidates: 04.01.2024 till 5.00 PM. The final Eligibility list for PhD program January 2024 session will be displayed on 08.01.2024.

For the eligibility status of the candidates, 2 separate lists have been released, one for external candidates and one for in-service candidates. 6 candidates are there under the external candidates list, and 2 candidates are under the in-service candidates list. The detailed lists are enclosed in the notice below.

PhD program at AIIMS Nagpur is a full-time residential program. A student seeking admission to PhD Program is considered under Candidates with own fellowship/ Self sponsor.

All the candidates are required to visit the website regularly since all subsequent Corrigendum/Addendum/Updates will be uploaded to the website only.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur, is one among the four AIIMS announced during the budget speech 2014-15 under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). The primary objective of AIIMS is “correcting regional imbalances in the availability of affordable/reliable tertiary healthcare services and also to augment facilities for quality medical education in the country”. Currently, students for MBBS, post-graduation, and PhD courses are enrolled with the institute.

Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that AIIMS Nagpur has invited applications for entrance examination leading to admission to the PhD program for the January 2024 session. The application process ended on 26.12.2023 (1700hrs). The last date to submit the application as a scanned copy by email was 23.12.2023 (1700 hrs). The last date to submit the application in hard copy was 26.12.2023 (1700 hrs). The entrance exam will be conducted on 10.01.2024 (1000 to 1130 hrs) at AIIMS Nagpur.
