Faridabad: Candidates seeking admission to MBBS courses in Punjab through NEET UG Counselling 2026 will have to pay higher tuition fees, as the Punjab Department of Medical Education and Research has revised the fee structure for both government and private medical colleges from the 2026-27 academic session.

The revised fee structure will apply to candidates admitted through the Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2026, conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot.

According to the revised schedule, annual tuition fees have been increased for all five years of the MBBS course in both government and private medical colleges. The updated fee structure will apply to all candidates allotted seats through the state counselling process.

BFUHS conducts Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by medical and dental colleges across the state. Eligible candidates who qualify the NEET UG examination can apply for admission under different categories, including the State Quota, Government Quota, Management Quota, Minority Quota and NRI Quota.

Under the admission process, 85% of MBBS seats in government medical colleges are filled through the Punjab state counselling conducted by BFUHS, while the remaining 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats are allotted through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)

The updated fee details are expected to help candidates make informed decisions while selecting colleges during the counselling process.
