Punjab NEET 2026 counselling round 3 choice filling to close on October 7, check details

Punjab: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has withdrawn its earlier notice that had partially modified the schedule for the third round of Punjab State online counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions under NEET UG 2026.
Through a public notice, BFUHS informed candidates that the notice issued earlier, through which certain dates for Round 3 counselling had been modified, has been withdrawn with immediate effect.
This means that candidates should now follow the original Round 3 counselling schedule earlier notified by BFUHS, rather than the subsequently modified dates. The university has clarified that the September 25 schedule remains in force.
As per the schedule restored by BFUHS, candidates participating in the third round will be able to fill and submit their online choices and preferences for course, college, quota and category from tomorrow, i.e. October 6 to October 7, 2026, through the online counselling portal. Following choice filling, the university will process the seat allotment from October 8 to October 9, 2026. The provisional seat allotment result for Round 3 is scheduled to be displayed on October 10, 2026.
Candidates should carefully check the provisional allotment once released, particularly their allotted course, college, quota and category, before proceeding with the subsequent counselling requirements. Candidates who have any objection to the provisional seat allotment will be able to raise it until 3:00 PM on October 11, 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-
PUNJAB NEET UG 2026 ROUND 3: SCHEDULE

1 | Online choice/preference filling for course, college, quota and category | October 6-7, 2026 |

3 | Display of provisional allotment/result | October 10, 2026 |

However, BFUHS has specified that objections must be submitted personally by the candidate at the Admission Branch of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, along with relevant supporting documents and records.
