Registrations OPEN for NEET PG 2026- Check complete schedule, application process, exam fee

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the information bulletin for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) medical course entrance test 2026.

Through the information bulletin, NBE has announced the complete schedule, application process and the examination fee for the NEET PG 2026.

According to the schedule, the online application process commenced on July 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM and will remain open until 11:55 PM on July 21, 2026. Information regarding the exam city will be provided on August 11, 2026, while the NEET-PG 2026 exam will be conducted on August 30, 2026. The results are expected to be declared by September 30, 2026.

Meanwhile, the edit window will open from July 25 to July 28, 2026. Subsequently, the selective edit window will be open from July 31 to August 10, 2026. The admit card will be released on August 27, 2026; however, the cut-off date for completing the internship to be eligible for NEET-PG 2026 has been set for September 30, 2026.

Meanwhile, it is to be noted that deficient images, if any, may be communicated by NBEMS during the Selective Edit Window period through email and/or applicant login dashboard for rectification through the Image Scrutiny Tab. However, no further opportunity shall be given after this.

If a candidate has selected their correspondence address as their permanent address, they will not be permitted to make any changes to either the permanent address or the correspondence address during the "edit window."

INSTRUCTIONS TO FILL ONLINE NEET-PG 2026 APPLICATION FORM

NEW USER REGITRATION

All candidates desirous of applying for NEET-PG 2026 shall be required to create an online profile of themselves to generate a User ID and Password.

Certain information provided by the candidate—such as name, nationality, mobile number, email ID, correspondence address, Aadhaar number (if provided), and preferences for the examination state—cannot be changed after the submission of the registration/application form or the closure of the designated correction window. Such restrictions are necessary for maintaining examination integrity, candidate unique identity management, communication records, payment reconciliation, test city allocation, audit trail, examination security and other administrative requirements connected with the conduct of the examination.

By submitting the application form, the candidate acknowledges having read and understood the provisions of this Information Bulletin and expressly consents to the collection, storage, processing, use and sharing of personal data furnished in the application form for purposes connected with the conduct of NEET-PG 2026, identity verification, communication, result processing, counselling/admission processes, document verification, audit, record maintenance and other lawful examination-related activities.

Candidates are advised to use the latest internet browser to fill the application form; and also advised not to use mobile phones or other handheld devices for this online process. It is highly recommended to clear your browser history and cache before starting the online submission to avoid technical errors. Before beginning, please read the Information Bulletin thoroughly and note that all fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory and must be completed for a successful application submission. NBEMS shall not be responsible for interruption / non-submission caused due to candidate-side hardware, software, internet or power-related issues.

APPLICANT LOGIN

This User ID and Password so created will allow the candidate to login as an applicant for NEET-PG 2026 session and register an online application. The “Go to Application” link will allow the applicant to continue with the application submission immediately after user creation.

If the Login password is lost, it can be retrieved by clicking “Forgot Your Password”.

The UserID / Application sequence number and password so generated shall be sent to the registered email ID of the candidate for future records.

The candidate can log in using his / her User ID and Password.

The application submission process can be completed either in a single sitting or in multiple sittings, as per the candidate's choice, during the application submission window. However, once an application is successfully completed & submitted, it shall be available for editing certain field/s only during the “Edit Window”.

Candidates are advised not to complete and submit the online application form in haste so as to avoid any errors in furnishing information. The particulars furnished by the candidate in the NBEMS application form for NEET-PG 2026 shall be treated as final for all purposes relating to the examination and subsequent counselling/admission process. The details of the candidates will be pre-populated in Counselling.

Registration Form/Admission form as provided by them while filling up the NBEMS Application form for NEET-PG 2026. Candidates shall have the option to make corrections in any information (except Name, Nationality, Test State Preferences, Mobile Number, Aadhaar details, Correspondence Address and Email ID) during the edit window. Request for change/modification/correction in any information furnished in the application form shall be summarily rejected.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF APPLICATION SUBMISSION

An acknowledgement email shall be sent to the registered email ID confirming submission of an application by the candidate. Submission of application shall be completed only after successful payment of examination fee. The candidate should confirm the status of payment in the application form PDF where ’S’ would stand for “Successful” and “F” would stand for “Failed”. Candidates are advised to retain a copy of the successfully submitted application form for future reference as this will not be available after the declaration of NEET-PG 2026 result.

The following sequence shall be observed while filing the online application form-

1 Fill the user registration form to generate User ID / Application sequence number and Password.

2 User ID and Password will be sent through SMS and Email.

3 Complete the application form and upload your Photograph, scanned signature, Thumb impression & prescribed documents.

4 Choose your “Test State” preferences and pay the examination fee

5 Agree to the declaration and submit the application

6 Take a printout of the filled Application form with Transaction ID printed on it and payment status mentioned as “S” (Successful) for records.

EXAMINATION FEE

The General, OBC and EWS candidates need to pay a total of Rs 3500/- and the SC, ST, PwBD candidates need to pay a total of Rs 2500/-.

Application forms, once submitted, cannot be withdrawn. The examination fee shall neither be refunded nor carried forward to any future examination under any circumstances. No request for refund, adjustment, transfer or carry forward of the examination fee shall be entertained by NBEMS.

The prescribed exam fee should be remitted through the payment gateway provided using UPI or Credit Card / Debit Cards issued by banks in India or other modes as may be made available and have been provided on the web page. Fee can not be deposited through any mode other than the payment gateway available while submitting the online application form.

Examination fees in respect of candidates who are absent or have been declared ineligible due to any reason shall be forfeited. Candidates are advised to read the information bulletin for NEET-PG 2026 carefully and satisfy the terms and conditions for fulfilment of eligibility criteria before proceeding for payment of fees.

Kindly ensure that the payment made for the examination fee is successful and confirmation of the same can be seen in the application form under payment status reflected as “S” (for successful). In case the status is shown as pending, the payment might be stuck with your bank and might be cleared at a later date.

The application submission process is not completed till the status of payment is reflected as “S” in the application form. NBEMS shall not be responsible for rejection of your application due to delay in settlement of the payment by your bank to NBEMS.

In the event of receipt of duplicate/multiple examination fees towards the same Application Sequence Number, NBEMS shall refund the excess fees received for an application, retaining the prescribed examination fee, after closure of the application window. Candidates are strongly advised not to wait till the last date for submission of application form and to complete the application process, including payment of examination fee, well in advance to avoid possible technical issues, payment failures or delayed reconciliation of payment transactions.

The online submission of the application form through the NBEMS website within the prescribed timeline shall be the only valid mode of application submission for NEET-PG 2026. Applications submitted through any other mode and/or after closure of the prescribed application submission window shall not be accepted under any circumstances. No request for acceptance of application after closure of the application submission window, for any reason whatsoever, shall be entertained by NBEMS.

Candidates shall ensure availability of stable internet connectivity and use of a compatible device/ browser while filling the application form. NBEMS shall not be responsible for interruption, incomplete submission or non-submission of the application caused due to candidate-side hardware, software, internet connectivity, browser compatibility or power-related issues.
