TN Health Begins Round 3 Counselling for PwD PG Medical admissions 2024-25, Details
Tamil Nadu- Tamil Nadu (TN) Health has started the Round 3 PWD counselling for postgraduate (PG) degree/diploma courses in Tamil Nadu government medical colleges for the 2024-25 session from today. In this regard, TN Health has released the tentative schedule for PWD candidates who are willing to participate in the PG Degree/Diploma Round 3 Counselling 2024-25 session.
As per the schedule, the PG Degree/Diploma Round 3 (Mop Up) Counseling 2024-25 session will start today i.e. 29 January 2025 and end on 09 February 2025. In which, PwD candidates can register and complete the payment process from 12:05 pm to 02:00 pm today. After this, candidates can do the choice filling and locking process from 03:00 pm to 5.00 pm today.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that at the time of registration, the candidate has to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 30,000/- for government medical colleges (no need to pay again if already paid).
Also, candidates who are participating in the online choice filling for PG degree/diploma courses have to deposit a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1000/- for the government quota. Candidates should be careful while choice filling. Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked they will not be allowed to edit. Hence candidates are requested to check their choices and the order of preference before locking.
VIRTUAL VACANCIES
1 Any Candidate who has been allotted a seat in Round 1 & Round 2 and has opted for re-allotment in Mop up (Round 3), that allotted seat of Round 1 & Round 2 will be shown as a virtual vacancy in Mop up (Round 3), any Candidates can choice lock for the said seat (virtual seat) during the choice filling in Mop up (Round 3). However, such seats will be allotted in Mop up (Round 3) only if the allotted candidate of Round 1& Round 2 vacates that seat. Thus, that virtual vacancy becomes a real vacancy and it is open to all in the order of merit.
2 Any candidate who has opted for upgradation in Mop-up (Round-3 -3) allotted seat in Mop-up round (Round-3) will necessarily have to vacate the seat and cannot claim to retain the seats.
3 Vacancy positions for the Course will be available on the official websites.
4 The selection committee does not take responsibility for Connectivity error and Procedural error.
5 Admission to PG Degree/ Diploma courses shall be made by online counselling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation.
6 Request for a change of course or College, from one to another is not permitted after final locking.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING ALLOTMENT ORDER
1 The Selected candidate has to pay the Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment order online via Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.
2 All candidates should make sure, sufficient funds is available at their bank account with an expanded credit limit while remitting their Tuition Fee.
3 The allotted candidates who have already paid the tuition fee in the Round-I/Round II of online counselling, have to pay the difference (if any) amount only
4 The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.
REPORTING TO ALLOTTED COLLEGE
1 The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges along with the scanned copy of the original certificates for verification.
2 If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.
3 The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts, or mis-interpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
4 No communication will be directly sent to the Candidate(s). They are advised to be in touch with the website on a regular basis for any updates.
