TN Health releases round 1 NEET PG counselling schedule, registrations open till November 24th, check complete details

Chennai: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME), Tamil Nadu, has released the tentative Round 1 counselling schedule for PG medical Degree and Diploma admissions 2025.

The admissions will be made in Government Medical Colleges, along with Government, Management (including Minority and NRI) quota seats in self-financing medical colleges, and 20% & 50% quota seats of Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, for the 2025–2026 academic session.

The notification outlines the complete counselling timeline and instructions for candidates participating in the first round of online allotment.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

• Candidates who are participating the online choice filling for PG Degree/Diploma Courses will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs.1000/- for Government Quota and Rs.1000/- for Management Quota.

• At the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay Refundable Security Deposit for Government Quota:

For Government Medical Colleges – Rs. 30,000/- For Government Quota seats in

Self-Financing Medical College – Rs. 1,00,000/-

• At the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay Refundable Security Deposit for Management Quota:

For Management Quota including Minority/ NRI

Category seats in Self-Financing Medical Colleges - Rs.2,00,000/-

• All candidates should read the Prospectus thoroughly before starting choice filling.

• Candidates should be careful while choice filling.

• Choice Filling: Candidates will have the option of choice filling for all the seats for which they have applied to. For example, if a candidate has applied for both Government and management quota he will have choices for both Government as well as Management quota. The candidates are encouraged to analyze all the choices available and fill their choices in order of their preference.

• Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked they will not be allowed to edit. Hence candidates are requested to check their choices and the order of preference before locking.

• If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date (24-11-2025 5 PM) their choices will be automatically locked.

• Seat Matrix for the Course will be available on the official websites.

• Selection committee does not take responsibility of Connectivity error and Procedural error.

• Admission to PG Degree/ Diploma courses shall be made by the ONLINE COUNSELLING on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation.

• Request for change of course or College, from one to another is not permitted after final locking.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING ALLOTMENT ORDER:

• The Selected candidate has to pay the Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment order through online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI.

• Fee structure is available in the official website

• All candidates should make sure, sufficient fund is available at their bank account with expanded credit limit while remitting their Tuition Fee.

• The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.

REPORTING TO ALLOTTED COLLEGE:

• The candidates should produce their ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES in person at the time of joining in their selected Colleges along with the scanned copy of original certificates for verification.

• If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and / or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.

• The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable for forfeiture of selection / admission if suppression of facts, mis-interpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.

• Candidates are advised to be in touch with our official websites for Schedule / latest updates / Results / Notices / News & Events pertaining to counselling as Selection Committee will not be individually contacting the candidates for the same.

• No communication will be directly sent to the Candidate(s). They are advised to be in touch with the website on regular basis for any updates.
