TN Health Releases Round 2 NEET Counselling Schedule For MBBS, BDS Admissions, Details here
Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Health (TN Health) has released the tentative round 2 NEET counselling schedule for admission to MBBS/BDS degree courses.
The schedule is admissions to Government Medical/ Dental Colleges, ESIC Medical College, K.K. Nagar, Chennai, Government & Management Quota (incl. NRI/NRI Lapsed) seats in Self Financing Medical/ Dental Colleges, State Private Universities, Christian Medical College, Vellore and Wards of IRT Candidates and Government Medical/ Dental Colleges, ESIC Medical College, K.K. Nagar, Chennai, Government Quota seats in Self Financing Medical/ Dental Colleges & State Private Universities.

1. Registration - 21-08-2023 10:00 A.M. - 22-08-2023 05:00 P.M
2. Choice Filling & Locking - 24-08-2023 10:00 A.M. - 28-08-2023 05:00 P.M.

The candidates who wish to retain the college taken in the first round of online counseling need not participate in the second round of counseling. All candidates should read the Prospectus thoroughly before starting choice filling. The candidates who have been wait-listed/not joined in round-1 of counseling can also participate in this round of online counseling.
No Processing Fee, security deposit, and Tuition Fee applicable for 7.5% Special Reservation for Tamil Nadu Govt. School Students.
Candidates should be careful while choice filling. Candidates will have the option of choice filling out the categories for which they have applied in Round-I. The candidates are encouraged to analyze the choices available and fill in their choices in order of their preference.
Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked, they will not be allowed to edit. If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date (28/08/2023 5 PM), their choices will be automatically locked.
Seat Matrix for the Course will be available on the official websites. The selection committee does not take responsibility for Connectivity errors and Procedural errors.
Admission to MBBS/BDS Degrees courses shall be made by online counseling on the basis of rank by applying the rule of reservation.

Category Opt-out -
As the Round 2 counseling is a Re-allotment round, candidates will not be allowed for categories that they have opted out of, as mentioned in the prospectus Clause 17 II (d). For Example, if a candidate has not opted for any of the Self-Financing MBBS (Category B) in Round 1, he will not be allowed for that category in Round 2.
Instructions for downloading allotment order -
The freshly allotted candidate for MBBS seats in all colleges under all categories and BDS seats has to pay the Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment order (Except candidates mentioned in the next clause) online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking or RTGS.
The Selected candidates belonging to SC/SCA/ST/ SCC who have been allotted seats in Govt. Quota and Management Quota in self-financing Medical colleges are exempted from paying tuition fees for downloading the allotment order if the annual income of Parents/Guardians is less than 2.5 Lakhs.
The Selected candidate (BDS seats in Self Financing Dental Colleges) has to pay the Tuition Fee at the time of admission to the colleges directly as per G.O(D) No.868 Health and Family Welfare (MCA-1) Department dated.18.07.2023 as detailed in the Notification No.010/SCS1(1)/2023 dated 19.07.2023.
The re-allotted candidates who already paid the tuition fee in the Round-I of online counseling have to pay the difference (if any) amount only. The fee structure is available on the official websites www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in and www.tnmedicalselection.org
All candidates should make sure sufficient fund is available in their bank account with expanded credit/Transaction limit while remitting their Tuition Fee. The allotted/re-allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.
Reporting to allotted college -
1. The Certificate Verification will be done in the selected colleges itself.
2. The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining in their selected Colleges, along with a scanned copy of the original certificates for verification.
3. If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be canceled without any further notice.
4. The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of the reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts, mis- interpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
