TN MBBS, BDS Counselling 2025: Round 1 Registrations, Choice Filling Begins July 30

Tamil Nadu- The Tamil Nadu (TN Health) is soon going to start the round 1 counselling for admission into the MBBS & BDS Degree courses in Tamil Nadu Government Medical & Dental Colleges, ESIC Medical College, K.K. Nagar, Chennai, Government & Management Quota (incl. NRI & Minority) seats in Self Financing Medical & Dental Colleges, State Private Universities, Christian Medical College, Vellore and Wards of IRT candidates for the 2025-2026 session.
In this regard, TN Health has released the schedule for the candidates willing to participate in the said counselling. As per the schedule, the Registration/ Payment and Choice Filling & Locking process will commence from 30 July 2025, 10:00 AM. Following this, the Processing of Seat Allotment will be done on 05 August 2025 and then on 06th August 2025, the result will be published.

Meanwhile, candidates who are participating in the online choice filling for MBBS & BDS Degree Courses will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs 500/- for Government Quota and Rs 1000/- for Management Quota. In addition, at the time of registration, the candidate will have to pay a Refundable Security Deposit of Rs 30,000/- for Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Medical & Dental Colleges & State Private Universities.
Moreover, for the Management Quota, including Minority / NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Medical & Dental Colleges & State Private Universities, candidates have to pay a Refundable Security Deposit of Rs 1,00,000/-. However, SC/SCA/ST and Converts to Christianity from Scheduled Caste candidates (SCC) are exempted fromthe Security deposit if the annual Income is less than 2.5 Lakhs.
CHOICE FILLING
1 Candidates should be careful while choosing.
2 Candidates will have the option of choosing filling for all the seats for which they have applied. The candidates are encouraged to analyse all the choices available and fill in their choices in order of their preference.
3 Candidates can edit their choices any number of times before locking, but once locked, they will not be allowed to edit. Hence, candidates are requested to check their choices and the order of preference before locking.
4 If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date, i.e. 04 August 2025, 5:00 PM, their choices will be automatically locked.
5 Seat Matrix for the Courses will be available on the official website of TN Health.
6 The Selection Committee does not take responsibility for Connectivity errors and Procedural errors.
7 Admission to MBBS & BDS Degree courses shall be made by online counselling based on rank, by applying the rule of reservation.
8 Request for change of course (MBBS/BDS) or College, from one to another, is not permitted after final locking.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING ALLOTMENT ORDER
1 The candidate, if allotted a seat, he/she has to pay the Tuition Fee for downloading the Provisional allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking.
2 The candidate, if allotted a BDS seat in Self-Financing Dental Colleges he/she has to pay the Tuition Fee at the time of admission to the colleges.
3 Fee structure is available on the official website TN Health.
4 All candidates should make sure sufficient funds are available in their bank account with an expanded credit limit while remitting their Tuition Fee.
5 The allotted candidates should download their provisional allotment order and join the course in the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the stipulated date and time as mentioned in the Provisional Allotment Order.
REPORTING TO THE ALLOTTED COLLEGE
1 The Certificate Verification will be done in the selected colleges themselves.
2 The candidates should produce their original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Colleges along with a scanned copy of their original certificates for verification.
3 If you do not report to the Head of the Institution to which you are allotted on or before the time and date specified, your selection and/or admission will be cancelled without any further notice.
4 The Candidate selected for admission should give a self-declaration form at the time of reporting to the concerned College that he/she is liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if suppression of facts, misinterpretation is found at any time during or after the admission to the course.
