TN NEET SS Counselling Round 1 Choice filling begins, Rs 20 lakh discontinuation fee, check all details

Tamil Nadu- Tamil Nadu (TN Health) has released the tentative round 1 counselling schedule for NEET SS Counselling for DM and MCh admissions in Tamil Nadu Government Medical Colleges for the 2024-25 session. The schedule has been released on the official website of TN Health
As per the schedule, the registration, Payment Choice Filling and Locking process begins from today, i.e. 16th May 2025, the result will be declared on 22 May 2025. Following this, the candidates can download the provisional Allotment Order from 22 May 2025 and the reporting will start from 27 May 2025.

Meanwhile, candidates participating in online counselling for higher speciality (DM and MCH) course will have to remit a non-refundable amount of Rs 1,000/- as processing fee through online by using a Debit Card /Net Banking or Credit Card.
In addition, the candidates should produce the following original certificates in person at the time of joining their selected Medical College, along with a scanned copy of the original certificates to the concerned College.
1 NEET SS -2024 Score Card.
2 NEET SS-2024 Admit Card.
3 Aadhar Card.
4 PG Degree Certificate or Provisional Pass Certificate) Permanent Medical Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.
5 TNPSC/MRB (through competitive written examination) Selection & Posting Order for service candidates.
6 Eligibility Certificate, if applicable.
7 Postcard-size colour photograph (4”x6”), the same photo that has been uploaded in NEET SS-2024.
Hence, candidates are instructed to produce the above-mentioned original Certificates/ Documents at the time of joining the Medical College for certificate verification.
Moreover, candidates should be vigilant while choice filling. The Seat Matrix of the Courses will be available on the official websites. Candidates have to ensure their preference for choice filling after carefully considering their options regarding higher speciality courses (their eligibility in multiple eligible broad speciality feeders).
