TN Super Speciality admissions 2026: 6 virtual vacancies, DME releases provisional allotment list

According to the vacancy list, a total of 6 seats are vacant across the courses. Below are the detailed vacancies-

College-wise, Chengalpattu Medical College accounts for the largest share with three virtual vacancies, followed by Madurai Medical College with two seats and Tirunelveli Medical College with one seat.

Along with this, the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME) has also released the provisional list of candidates allotted seats in Super Speciality courses for the 2025-26 academic session, with 15 candidates securing DM and MCh seats across government medical colleges in the state.

The provisional allotment list provides details including the candidates' general rank, community, allotted speciality, medical college and qualifying examination group. Of the 15 candidates in the provisional list, eight have been allotted DM seats. The provisional list also shows that two candidates were re-allotted from previously held seats.

Moreover, the TN DME has released an addendum to the provisional rank list of eligible candidates for Super Speciality DM and MCh admissions for the 2025-26 academic session.

The addendum provides additional rank details for candidates across the Medical Group, Medical Oncology Group, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Group and Surgical Group, along with their application numbers and All India Quota (AIQ) ranks.
