UP DGME Extends Joining Date For Round 1 Allotted NEET PG Candidates
Uttar Pradesh: The candidates who have been allotted seats after round 1 of counselling of NEET PG admissions can now join till 14th October 2022. The Directorate General of Medical Education (UP DGME) has given 2 more days of extension. The previous date was 12th October 2022.
For the candidates who have been allotted seats in the government quota, the admission process will be done as per the master level of the college dean. At the same time, the admission process for the candidates who have been allotted seats in private colleges will be done at the designated medical centres.
The candidates must carry all the educational documents during the admission process. Both original and photocopies have to be carried. The candidates of private medical colleges will have to pay the tuition fee by DD to Director General Medical Education & Training, UP, Payable at Lucknow. And after the verification, the entire fee has to beat the nodal centre.
If the management of any private medical college has been granted to take less tuition fee than the prescribed fee, then the DD has to be submitted at the nodal centre. The details related to the fee structure are available on the official website.
The candidates who have been allotted seats in government colleges through AIQ quota but now want to be admitted to government colleges through government quota has to get the no objection certificate from the dental and medical college. Before the start of round 2 of the counselling process, such candidates must submit all the necessary certificates. And if they fail to do so, their seat will be considered unfulfilled and included in round 2 as the vacant seat. Once the candidates are allotted seats, they will have to undergo medical tests. The test can be carried out at colleges/universitie/nodal centres. A board has been formed in these places.
The OBC certificate required by the EWS and other backward candidates will have to be issued on or after 1st April 2022. Or else the admission process of such candidates will be cancelled. For the admission process of round 1 allotted candidates, Covid protocol will be followed.
The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centres from peripheral hospitals.
