UP DGME Informs on NEET Admission Process for Round 1 candidates
Uttar Pradesh: The Directorate General of Medical Education (UP DGME) informed about the NEET UG admission process. The merit list for round 1 was also released.
As per the notice, COVID protocols will be followed during the admission process. All the details related to NEET UG are available on the official website of DGME. The candidates are requested to go through the details.
The admission process will be carried out at government institutes/self-financing institutes/universities for the candidates allotted government quota seats. For private colleges, the admission process will be carried out at the nodal center. The details of the nodal center are mentioned on the website. The allotment order issued to the candidates carries the name of the college and nodal center.
Candidates note that if the photo is missing or different in the allotment letter, the admission process will be passed on to the NEET UG admit card. Those candidates allotted seats in a private college will have to pay the tuition fee through bank DD addressed to the Director General of Medical Education & Training, UP, payable at Lucknow. They will have to deposit the DD at the nodal center.
The candidates belonging to EWS and OBC categories. Their certificates must be issued on or after 1st April 2022, or they will not be considered valid. All the candidates are further requested to conduct their medical inspection at the medical board constituted by the medical college/nodal center.
The joined candidates of round 1 who wish to reshuffle in round 2 will have to deposit the security money, hostel fee, and miscellaneous fee after the completion of round 2 at the newly allotted college during the time of admission. The admission process will be completed by 13th November 2022 for round 1.

1. Marksheet of 10th and 12th
2. Reservation-related proofs
3. Proof of domicile
4. NEET UG scorecard, admit card
5. ID proof
6. Allotment letter

The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state's health needs. The directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental, and paramedical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, it also provides standard medical facilities to the patients.
