UP DGME issues guidelines for NEET PG 2024 Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Candidates

Uttar Pradesh- Currently, the National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Stray Vacancy Round counselling is going on in Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2024-25. In this regard, Uttar Pradesh, Director General, Medical Education and Training (UPDGME) through a notice has issued some guidelines regarding the admission process of candidates allotted from the counselling of stray vacancy round under UP NEET PG-2024.
As per the guidelines, the admission process of candidates allotted seats in the Government sector will be conducted at the level of the concerned Medical College, Institute, University and Hospital. Besides, the admission process of candidates allotted seats in private-sector medical colleges will be conducted at nodal centres nominated by the Government.
Therefore, it will be mandatory for the allotted candidates to appear in person, submit the original educational, category or subcategory and other certificates at the time of admission.
Meanwhile, candidates allotted to private sector colleges will be charged a CTS bank draft of the tuition fee determined by the government, issued in favour of the Director General, Medical Education & Training, U.P. Payable at Lucknow. If the private sector college management charges less than the tuition fee determined by the government, it is free to do so. The tuition fee determined by the government and the fee structure of minority institutions is available on the official website of UPDGME.
Moreover, the allotted candidates must undergo a medical examination by the Medical Board constituted at the college level.
UP NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round Counselling 2024 started on 17th February 2025 and will end on 28th February 2025. In which, candidates can start downloading the allotment letter and admission process from today i.e. 24th February 2025 till tomorrow i.e. 25th February 2025.
