UP DGME Notifies On NEET PG Counselling 2024 Rounds Resignation Process
Uttar Pradesh- Currently, Uttar Pradesh (UP) National Eligibility and Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG) Round 2 Counselling 2024 is going on. Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Director General, Medical Education (UPDGME) has issued an important notice regarding the resignation by candidates admitted in the first/second round under UP NEET PG-2024.
Through the notice, candidates admitted through counselling of the first/second round under UP NEET PG-2024 are informed that if they want to resign from their admitted seat, then such interested candidates can resign 02 days before the choice filling of the third round i.e. till 2:00 pm on 06 January 2025. To submit the resignation and complete the necessary action, the candidate will have to personally appear at the nodal centre where the admission process has been completed.
Meanwhile, as per the UP NEET PG counselling 2024 schedule, choice filling for Round 2 will begin on December 13, 2024, and end on December 18, 2024. After this, the Round 2 result of seat allotment will be declared on 20th December 2024. Thereafter, candidates can download the allotment letter and complete the admission process by December 28, 2024. However, NEET PG Round 2 counselling begins on December 12, 2024, and ends on December 28, 2024.

Along with this, UPDGME has also recently released the tentative seat matrix for the 2nd round of counselling of MD and MS for the academic year 2024. As per the tentative seat matrix, a total of 1647 seats are vacant in the 2nd round of counselling of MD and MS across 61 medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
